 No.2825

I wish to speak of Esoteric Christianity, also known as Inner Christianity. . .

In my quest for spiritual understanding and service, I have discovered many a great book and website that wended my Way towards what I have sought. Now, I do not claim to be any occult master, apostle or even someone who has become that which I will espouse you soon. I am an aspirant who has journeyed for quite some time and who believes it is my time to share what I have found, for “whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”

In my current understanding, Esoteric Christianity focuses on the following points;

>. . . to become Christ-consciousness (higher self) incarnate, that is, to embody the Spirit, and. . .

>. . . to transcend the lower animal nature (flesh) and live from one's higher spirit nature (water and spirit). . .

>. . . and these two can be achieved only by mastering one's consciousness by maintaining a state of positive lucidity, that is, a state of high awareness accompanied by positive emotions and thoughts

>. . . to become closer to and follow one's intuition (gnosis), the voice of the Spirit, the guidance of one's Christ-consciousness

>. . . to serve others and become a true Christian (a person who manifests one's Christ-consciousness)

>. . . and other things left unsaid

It may sound quite amazing, but I believe it can be done. The Christian message is to me a gnostic, Hermetic message - but ultimately a Christian message. With the help of the literature I am to share, I wish to inspire my brothers and sisters and be of some sort of service to you.

The literature I have chosen is to me practical and inspirational; I have tried to avoid obscurant mysticism for it does not resonate with me and is difficult to grasp. I aim for practicality, validity; and with this aim I wish to work.

Do not accept the words you will read; listen to your heart, your intuition, and confirm it with your mind, only then will you find the Truth. Take that which resonates with your being and leave the rest. With this message I will begin the sharing, so mind a while. . .

A decent premier on Esoteric Christianity. I appreciate Smoley's enthusiasm though I disagree with some of his conclusions (his cosmology on heavens and hells, for example).

Great books on aligning with one's Christ Consciousness and living from one's heart and Spirit. A lot of meditative (contemplative) practices; very inspiring and soothing.

>The Stellar Man by John Baines

A good premier with an astonishing conclusion; humanity lives in a state of sleepwalking, a state of low consciousness; it is time to wake up and develop one's consciousness!

Mostly Hermetic though it also discusses Jesus Christ in a way never heard of.

A great book on how faith and visualization can lead to amazing results akin to self-made miracles. Also known as "reality creation". "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."

http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/esp_autor_mouravieff.htm

Orthodox Christianity combined with Gurdjieff's Fourth Way. Focuses on development of consciousness and mastering of automatism and inner impulses. Pretty dense and technical but each page has something golden on it.

Not fond of his political views he tries to masquerade with spirituality. Ignore it and you will find gold.

Pray morn-to-eve,

thy Heart with it.

No more shall ye grieve,

for thy Spirit with fire becomes lit.

Meditate today,

And on Morrow's end,

from Above will say,

"Friend, thy Path we'll wend."

Devils and demons. The same thing with lucid dreaming and the other new age stuff. It sounds cool and is dangerous. Check out the playlist about new age on this channel.

>The Christian message is to me a gnostic, Hermetic message

Not at all. There is nothing gnostic about God becoming human and sacrificing his son.

>Do not accept the words you will read; listen to your heart, your intuition, and confirm it with your mind, only then will you find the Truth.

uh.

No, feelings are a very bad cursor to solely rely on. They are pure temptation.

Is there any difference between this and gnosticism btw?

I have to say, I would make a poor Devil!

>>Devils and demons. The same thing with lucid dreaming and the other new age stuff. It sounds cool and is dangerous.

Lucid dreaming is one of the safest practices one can do, really, safer than what is commonly called "astral projection"; mainly because in projection one leaves the safety of body which immediately draws the person back awake if something "threatening" comes. In lucid dreaming, one does not leave the body but can still enjoy some of the benefits of astral projection.

>>No, feelings are a very bad cursor to solely rely on. They are pure temptation.

I speak of this; http://montalk.net/metaphys/138/transcendence-through-intuitive-thinking

>Is there any difference between this and gnosticism btw?

What I have espoused is not philosophical or theological. It is highly practical without occult ritualism and "wizardry" which, to be honest, seems to be more a characteristic of modern Gnosticism than the ancient one. No aeons and elaborate cosmologies either, though it seems there is but semantic differences here.

>>>No, feelings are a very bad cursor to solely rely on. They are pure temptation.

>I speak of this; http://montalk.net/metaphys/138/transcendence-through-intuitive-thinking

It's not biblical.

Genesis 6:5

>And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually

Jeremiah 17:9-10

>The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?

>“I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

Mark 7:21-22

>For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly.

Now I agree that intuition is good, when dealing with wordly things. But here you have the Bible, the explicit word of God, telling you how to be a good Christian. You're not smarter than God, why would you go against what the bible explicitly tells you to do?

Gnosticism is cool bro. I mean, just for its "aesthetics" and sheer awesomeness value. On the evidence tab its about evenly matched with faith-alone Protestantism.
