>I tried going to Church for a while. I really don't see much benefit from it.
Which kind of Church is it? Describe mass and everything around it.
>I think personal prayer and contemplation and reading the Bible bring me a lot closer to God and improve my behaviour a lot more than Church.
A Church is something social where you are meant to interact with people, you need to do this.
Since you are a chan user you probably have problems with this anyway, but it is important.
Mass itself is a Holy Sacrifice directed towards God, it is supposed to honour him. It is a mandatory part of worshipping.
> think at most I would like to go to a home-based Church where you'd pray together and do bible study.
Christianity is the religion that worships the One and Holy God, not the Bible, sorry.
>Are there any movements/denominations that support this kind of thing?
Protestantism and anything below even that, like reformed Churches. Witnesses of Jehovah are similar-ish to that too.
