Obviously in the mainstream these are both prophecies. Ignore the pic and its possible incorrectness.

I don't know how many of you are /pol/acks…but how are these prophecies (more so Ezekiel than Psalm, which may just be a prayer asking God to smite Israel's enemies more than a prophecy in itself).

So for the Ezekiel prophecy: why would God defend Israel like this, as people like Hagee would like to think, seeing as Jews are no longer chosen, and for all we can tell, Israel is a heathen country.

Is Israel in this instance the Church? Let's discuss…

An equivalent, if this is a revelant prophesy, will be what happens when the Jewish antichrist convinces all nations to worship his idol; and all the Chritians who refuse will be slain–in fact, it would be that every last Christian would die, except for that God ends it at the last moment when the sun and moon are darkened and he appears in the clouds with great glory to crush the head of the serpent.

The Jews are no longer a people today because God destroyed them; the people who call themselves Jews are the synagogue of Satan; but even if they were Jews God would still hate them.

Yes I understand that. So I'm wondering how this prophecy (if it even is one) plays out. Perhaps it's already happened? Perhaps it's these countries going to war vs Christians?

It may well be… I speak from opinion and speculation, not by knowledge or prophecy, that it is those nations going to war against Christians. In the last days, after the antichrist takes control of a one world government, recieves a deadly wound, and then is basically reanimated by a devil, he will begin persecuting Christians and make war against the Saints.

Ezekiel 38 reads like a more elaborate version of Revelation 20:7-9

>7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

>8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

>9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Note how that thing happens after the millennial reign of Christ.
