The unaltered augsburg confessions explicitly contradict Calvinism, and although they were contemporaries, Luther and Calvin didn't work with one another.

You would have done better to have made fun of Philip Melanchthon than John Calvin, as Melanchthon actually did work with Luther, and developed a shit ton of protestant theology.

Hell, given how much Melanchthon developed, I'm suprised we're Lutherans and not Melanchthonians.
