The aesthetics of circumcision
1) Do you prefer circumcised penises? Aesthetically speaking?
2) Would you prefer female genitalia be "circumcised" or mutilated or modified as used to be done in the middle-east, and is still done in Africa? Aesthetically speaking?

You can google "female circumcision before and after" for pictures. It ranges from removing some of the lips and the flesh over the clit, or removing basically everything (including the clit). Sometimes its stitched up and the man has to break the stitches for sex which is painful, but proves she kept her chastity!
There is also an opposite African tradition of attaching weights to the labia to make the inner lips lengthen and stretch out of the vagina over time. It starts to look a bit more like a penis.

Personally I find it funny how parents make the deicision calling it "traditional" and when you press them, they switch to saying "cosmetic" which implies they plan to look at their kid's dick a lot. And they say, "Back off government! It's my choice to make as a parent and no one else's business! My kid's dick is my property!"
The same logic could let you force your daughter to have breast implants for aesthetics. But aesthetics are subjective, and the aesthetics of the kid's future partner might not match that of the parent. It makes you wonder if the parent has already decided who will be the future lover of the child, possibly while looking in a mirror.
