ac8eda No.257896

Will there ever be a science of God?

A way for people to empirically analyze and maybe communicate with God using the power of science?

eb68c6 No.257901

e0192a No.257905

That is not the purpose of science.

ac8eda No.257906

>>257905

it is the ultimate purpose and we are heading towards it eventually, most scientists are afraid to face this fact

581361 No.257910

Science is just a jewish invention to trick Christians into turning away from God.

48a800 No.257915

>>257906

Science is the study of the natural world, the Lord is explicitly supernatural.

>>257910

dude what

ac8eda No.257920

>>257915

natural vs supernatural is a false dichotomy, you're making an elementary mistake. it's okay

f95b1e No.257932

Theology is the science of God.

83ec34 No.257998

>empirically analyze something outside the universe

Nah

262c02 No.259183

>>257920

In what way?

45cf58 No.259186

Scientists should be investigating the God hypothesis since its so important to everyone, of any religion…even atheists want to know

386654 No.259188

>>257998

all of aquinas' five ways are a posteriori arguments, and thus technically are empirical.

as a matter of fact, the a priori (non-empirical) arguments for God are normally dumb ass ones, like Anselm's ontological argument.

6cfff2 No.261892

> power of science

As an actual microbiologist I don't even understand what you are asking. You can "scientifically" analyse anything. Make a hypothesis, test it and have a control group. The real issue is that much like psychology analysis - you have several variables. Now imagine you are analyzing prayer and healing. How would you actually measure faith? How do you provide quantifiable data?

3e7351 No.261906

Science has become a dogmatic religion.

It's hijacked by the Freemasons to serve a satanic agenda.

Gone are the days when science simply meant the study of things. Now it's become monkey-man God-hating pop science.

>guys he wears a labcoat, that means he's a scientist! you stoopid primitive christians the earth is a ball, the black science guy said so..

I wouldn't call it their religion. Ass is their religion; It's god, themselves; Their temple, everyone; Their virtue, sins.

5d14a3 No.261939

Nah. Science can only analyze the physical. It makes too many philosophical assumptions to analyze the psychological realm too deeply, and it can't consider the concept of an unfalsible concept of a spirit, much less God.
