Its state controlled. China doesn't allow new religious movements that might subvert the government, this is a remainder of communism. They have three Christian organizations created by the state. Two Protestant ones (Three-Self Patriotic Movement and the China Christian Council) and one Catholic one (The Chinese Patriotic Catholic Organization). Churches run by these are the only ones legally allowed to exist, with the exception of a few historical Orthodox Churches and house churches set up in rural areas. There is also freedom of religion in Macau and Hong Kong, so those places have real Churches without state control.

I truly hope that Chinese Christianity grows. European Christianity is quickly degenerating, and the kind of steadfast Christianity we see in China and Russia (even the USA to a lesser extent) will bring about a better future for us all.

Let me offer my limited view on Asia as someone who has been there and has Asian in laws.

1. Money. All the richest businessman are Christian due to converting when studying overseas or seeing Christian countries as rich (Korea, Muricah) It is obvious God is blessing them. In non-Christian cultures that are open you go to the temple where you are being blessed. Superstition is massive and very in our favor.

2. Very good for culture as the commies now see. The Christians don't revolt, they render unto Caesar whatbis Caesar's, and they behave morally which is GREAT for society. Even the Pagans and Atheists in China know fornication and lies and theft is bad.

3. Very compatible with Chinese morals. Family first, work hard, and seek wisdom. Confucius actually makes an unattributed quote from Ecclesiastes (written 200 years prior) in his analects. It also makes automatic alliances with fellow Christians overseas.

This is gonna be GREAT for us if the Chinese advanxe our cause.

Christianity is completely incompatible with both capitalism and communism. The chinese government and society is now largely made up by these two kinds. Their power is based on financial wealth and industrial slavery. I wouldn't put much hope on the chinese, they're as degenerate as the west these days, probably way even more materialistic.
