One thing I don't understand, maybe it's mostly a protestant/baptist thing, but the concept of having people living without God/Salvation for this life and the next and next already sounds painful enough, they will be tortured souls most likely, it will already be bad, and then the torture of lake of fire? Seems like extra bad punishment,
Why the need for such? Can't they see the endgame of a life devoid of God is hell itself, without the need for lake of fire allegories?
