Hey Faggots,

My name is PiusX, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are fat, retarded, modernists who spend every second of their day diluting our faith and spreading heresy. You are everything bad in the Church. Honestly, have any of you ever celebrated the Mass in its intended traditional form? I mean, I guess it’s fun prancing around the sanctuary screeching Protestant tavern-songs, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than worshipping a cube in some desert town.

Don’t be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I’m pretty much perfect. I was defender of the faith, and a canonized saint. What do you do, other than “spread le new evangelization”? I also understand the importance of architecture and music, and have an actual military (We killed a bunch of rowdy proto-fascists back in the day; shit was SO cash). You are all faggots who should just kill yourselves. Thanks for listening.

They oppose the errors of Vatican II and are in an irregular canonical situation, but they aren't sedevacantists, and the excommunication on their bishops was lifted a few years ago. Lately there have been talks of reconciliation with Rome, but I wouldn't see it as a good thing if that means having to accept the errors of Vatican II, which are: recognition of religious liberty as a positive civil right, watered-down ecumenism and interreligious dialogue (for pure secular purposes, not for conversion) and collegiality, among others.

The only thing i like about Vatican II is the religious liberty, the exception of which should be Islam.

Catholics have always been against forced conversion

The religious freedom of Vat II is just putting falsehood on the same level as the truth

eeadd7 No.259498

>>259492

Freedom of conscience (private) isn't the same as the public recognition of religious liberty as a civil right, which as >>259493 says puts falsehood on the same level as the truth. Read this: http://www.remnantnewspaper.com/Archives/2009-1115-salza-vaticansspx_discussion.htm

Back during the unification of Italy the Pope hired French mercenaries to defend the Papal States. He eventually lost but he kicked Garibaldi's garlicky ass on several occasions.

I don't know of any specific books treating the topic. The encyclicals and documents of Popes Pius IX and Saint Pius X are a very good start:

-Cathechism of Saint Pius X: https://www.ewtn.com/library/CATECHSM/PIUSXCAT.HTM

-Quanta Cura and the Syllabus of Errors (read them together):

http://www.ewtn.com/library/ENCYC/P9QUANTA.HTM

http://www.ewtn.com/library/PAPALDOC/P9SYLL.HTM

-Pascendi Dominici Gregis

http://w2.vatican.va/content/pius-x/en/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-x_enc_19070908_pascendi-dominici-gregis.html

This is also a very good source:

I hope this will help.

I wouldn't know how to rank them, but reading about Blessed Pius IX he seems absolutely based. He must be one of the most under-appreciated popes.
