Any time anyone posts about anything the pope says his apologists always find some contrived verbal loophole to allow them to say he didn't really say what he appeared to say. When the Trump thing happened they were arguing that because the pope referred to people who "only" build walls not being Christian he really wasn't referring to Trump. Either that or he was a poor confused victim who was tricked by the sneaky media. It's a little pathetic.

I think they somehow don't know how to reconcile being Catholic with admitting that the pope believes and advocates many wrong things. Pat Buchanan manages to do it somehow. There have been many bad popes, as most Catholics will admit, Francis is one of them.

My opinion is that the jewish media is actively trying to make Francis look bad by interpreting his words like protestants interpret the Bible (Not saying whether or not that's bad.) and making him look unprofessional for a shepherd of men. But I also think at least his holiness should write down what he's going to say (probably the whole point of the above video), at least so that he can't make any mistakes the media can use against him. Or he should be quiet like Ratzinger (was he quiet?) and not keeping his apologists defend him and try to find out what he actually means when he speaks about something. Not further dragging down everything by keeping ambiguous and all that shenanigans which comes after. When every other Christian denoms attack you for whatever they think you imply, it's time to stop speaking in parables and hit them with straight unambiguous words.
