How do you get out of bed for Church? It's so early in the morning and I don't get to sleep much during the weekdays so the weekend is my only time to sleep in.

What's your tricks to get up so early on sunday morning?

The same way you do anything else.

Really, just set an alarm and make the decision. And work some naps into your schedule if you can't get enough sleep at night.

You can go at 6 pm.

Either get up as you would any other day, or go later in the day, or the vigil the day before, which also counts.

Also, cut out that völkisch nonsense, It's not reconcilable with Christianity.

I thought Iron pill guy was a stoic?

There are a lot of similarities between Christianity and Stoicism.

I used to be a /pol/ regular, I mostly saw him identified as being völkisch, which is more of a sentimental, often neo-paganistic movement.

Stoicism I have nothing against. The Hellenistic philosophers were remarkably good at deciphering the divine just from observing nature without the benefit of any supernatural revelation. It's not without reason much of it has been incorporated in Christian thought.

I like to imagine him as a militant Catholic.

Really? Do you have a job or go to school? Are you a neet? Just don't be at the club at 2 AM if you have a mass to attend tomorrow.

School, it's quite stressful right now.

But it's mostly a thing about willpower. When I wake up and I don't have class I just wanna sleep in, you feel me? So I was wondering if you have any tricks in general to force yourself out of bed.

Don't you have a night mass? Here , we have mass at 7am, 8am, 7pm and 8pm, check your Archdioceses website and look at the schedules.

Love the 8pm mass because I have the chance to grab a sit. Earlier ones are packed with people.

I live in Sweden and there's only one small Catholic Church nearby, and since there's not many Catholics in the county they only have 1 mass on Sunday's. There is an evening mass on Friday I can go to however, but I want to go on the sabbath.

Then there's no other way but to go on Sunday, since Friday doesn't fulfil your obligation.

Getting up early when you'd rather sleep in might not be a very big cross to bear, but consider offering it up nonetheless.
