Autism + Bible study = Neat things. (no pun intended NEETS)

Tell me some obsessive minor details you have learned from others and on your own.

Example:

Esther 3 tells us of a villain called Haman the Agagite. So what is an Agagite?

1 Samuel 15 tells us God ordered all the Amalekites killed. Saul spared the King Agag and his sons. Samuel scolded Saul and killed Agag. The sons are never mentioned as killed. (Must be where Agagites come from)

So had Saul obeyed God in the first place all the people killed in Esther would not have died.

A moral spanning two books and hundreds of years.

I can do you one better. Instead of a moral spanning hundreds of hears, how about a moral spanning from the Book of Genesis all the way to today.

The Book of Genesis says this as a prophecy about Ishmael:

Genesis 16:12 "He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers."

Muslims call themselves the sons of Ishmael. Does this verse not describe the spirit of the Islamic world to a tee?

>Genesis 2:19

How does this imply that man was created before the animals?

>And the Lord God having formed out of the ground all the beasts of the earth, and all the fowls of the air, brought them to Adam to see what he would call them: for whatsoever Adam called any living creature the same is its name.

It's perfectly possible to create A, then create B, then bring A to B.

Pretty cool. Sauce on the sons of Ishmael part?
