My bible study is talking about race next week. Different races are clearly biologically different, how does the Bible explain this when supposedly all are equal? I feel like I'll be ostracized if I even dare to say all races aren't the same just with different amounts of melanin. Any advice and sciprute on this topic?

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

What does this mean? That God is a male or a female? Is "the image of God" actually how we physically look like humans? Or is it our consciousness?

>Different races are clearly biologically different, how does the Bible explain this when supposedly all are equal?

Literally nothing about how you look or how you think matters. If you're a human being, you're a child of God.

>If you're a human being, you're a child of God.

I never implied otherwise. My gripe is that they will use scripture to say that all races are equal in every way except for skin color, which is observably untrue, and how to deal with that.

d75bce No.261334

Spiritually I think we all have the same potential but clearly that never pans out to actual equality.

Biologically it's more obvious we aren't all actually equal.

7b25f8 No.261335

Everyone is equal before God. Physically, no, just like the skin color and facial structures are different, other things are different.

read some race realist christianity

As long as everyone understands we are all equal in the eyes of the Lord, equally worthy of love and mercy, I don't see the issue.

People of different races seem to have different biological predilections. This only becomes a problem when people go "Races are different, and this is why we should kill/enslave this race."

Other than that, I don't know why people get all huffy about race realism or wanting to stay segregated for cultural preservation (or sometimes safety). Or saying that it is better to marry within ethnic lines because there is something good and beautiful about a race and it's heritage.

It's about construction, not destruction. I think a lot of people into preserving their race view it in negative terms ("Gotta kill the niggers!") rather than positive terms ("It's not that I am trying to put you down, I just think this is something worth preserving.")

There are lots of accounts of cultures getting along just fine next to each other, you don't need to force them together.

Traditionally it was traced back to Noah and his three sons. Shem's descendants were all of Asia, Ham's descendants were all of Africa, and Japheth's descendants were all of Europe.

f725d9 No.261345

Image of God means we have some of the faculties God does (e.g. emotions). As for differences, I'm sure there's biological differences but those are meaningless in the greater scheme of things, from a spiritual point of view. We've all got the sensus divinatus, that's what matters. There's a slippery slope that you have to be careful of when you bring up racial differences though.

On another note; there's more race realists on here than I thought. I'm certain these are the same people who will stare at me with veiled scorn or anger if I have to bring up the fact that I've exclusively dated white women. Racemixing always gets under their skin, and bringing it up always makes them throw projections and incorrect assumptions about my upbringing in an attempt to sell me this belief system ("think about the cultural differences/you're at a disadvantage with white women etc"). There's something they cannot let go of when it comes to the topic and something that upsets them. That doesn't sit right with me when I consider what their possible priorities and opinions are on a spiritual level.

Why?

Thank you for all the helpful responses

It's part of some book we're going through, last week was on immigration, and the book clearly has "an agenda" with the pretty blatant shilling for more of an open border policy. Very frustrating when the Bible is taken out of context to manipulate Christians but it has been happening very frequently in regards to Zionism, immigration, etc

we are all equal spiritually. We all have the same chance of being saved as everyone else, doesn't say we are equal mentally or physically.

Seems to fit with history.

"God shall enlarge Japheth,"

European colonialism spread throughout the world.

"and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem"

Europe became Christianized, coming under the rule of God of Shem and the Semites.

"and Canaan shall be his servant."

Yeah.. That happened… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's a matter of public revelation. Romans 10:12, Galatians 3:28. Tradition affirms it.

And you can even extrapolate it from other doctrine. The Church has always been opposed to abortion and other forms of eugenics. Even retards can be saved, and there's no cut-off in mental or physical ability where we can positively say someone does not have an immortal soul.

There are distinct differences in intellectual achievement between different races, but there doesn't seem to be a strong consensus whether it's mainly genetic or mainly environmental. But it would be foolish to ignore the issue altogether, or engage in what many scientists with a leftist agenda do, which is outright scientific misconduct (I don't know any race-related examples off the top of my head, but everyone has heard the "social construct" mantra of the leftist social scientists. John Money and the case of David Reimer comes to mind in the field of gender and sex, another example where two groups of people, men and women, are very different but still equal in dignity.)

In short, do be realistic about racial differences, but know that no such difference can be used as an excuse to commit immoral acts against someone.

for IQ it's been determined that its mostly genetic, I'm talking about 75 to 85%.

If they bring up Galatians 3:28 remind them that while inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul was directing his Epistles toward churches to advise 'church policy', and that if he is denying the existence of race than he is also deying the existence of gender and slavery.

No not all men are equal.

We know that every person in the bible got associated with a blessing and sometimes a curse.

For example we know of the curse and blessing of Ismael and the blessing of Israel.

>So God created man in his own image

God created ADAM in his own image, but the bible says that his sons where created after ADAMS image, not Gods (genesis 5:3).

That is why the seed of Adam was cursed to die because of the curse on adam.

.

Every tribe/nation is a image of their ancestors. With each generation the curses and blessing multiply by addion, so thats why we have this vastness of diffrent nations.

The arabs have the blessing and curse of Ismael, thats why they are big in number but also all times at war with others and each other.

But we can take the best example with israel, each tribe has his own blessing put down by Jacob (Genesis 49) and this shows to be true throug out the bible, most of the tribes where envious of Ephraim and Manassa, but if they are all equal why are they envious?

We know that Jacob and Esau were completely diffrent people in character and apperance, but they where born twins. Esau was tanned and hairy as the fur of a goat, but Jacob was light skinned and more of a house person.

The bible shows that from a single seed a vastness of people can be created.

But just to make it simple, just as you have hundrets of dogs races each coming from just a few wolves and each one more diffrent than the other. It would be stupid to not accept this reality in humans.

You have intelligent and stupid dog races, you have high performers and low performers, you have big and small dogs, all coming form one comon ancestor.

So if your church group calls this racist, ask them why did they select this dog race and not another.

Their answer is mostly likly because they are durable, children friendly, beautiful,… and then ask them why they did not choose a pitbull or a chiwawa.

If they reply that a pitbull is dangerous, call them racist and full of prejudices.

And then confront them with pol facts about race use asians as a positive example so that you dont appear as white-nationalist.

Races all come from the sons of Noah. Shem begat the middle east, Japheth is the father of the whites and Ham whose name means "burnt" is the father of the blacks.

Whether you go by what the cultures themselves say (Ethiopians says they are of Sheba son of Ham, Chinese claim Noah had other children later, and they are of that) What Josephus says (I think he was incorrect on a few) Or whatever the modern critics say, some things are pretty well agreed on. Madea is the father of Persians, Elam is the father of Pakistan and India, Mizraim son of Ham is Egypt.

Of course people are different. Most southeast Asians have bad eyesight, whites are more prone to melanoma, lots of problems are genetic even dyslexia.

God is a Spirit, there is no physical likeness to copy aside from Jesus. I think it meant our capacity for higher thought.

Cannanites are extinct, but yes it did happen. Modern blacks who were slaves are of Phut son of Cush son of Ham. He had no curse, only Cannan did.

Other BIG BLACK things ;)

3ad25a No.261907

We are all the same as in all 'kind'.

But a 'kind' of animal can have many variations, see dogs, spiders, etc.

Adam and Eve were brown and out of that came the diversity of very light brown (what we call "white" people) and dark brown. We are all a different shade of brown.

And yes, race is not just skin deep. There are different genetics and facial structures in the same way you have many different breeds of dogs. But they still remain dogs.

If you can create offspring, you're of the same kind (I use the Biblical definition, not the retardedly vague evolutionist term "species").

We also have souls. God created every single person so He loves all of us. He does not want any of us to perish (hence Christ dying for our sins).

How do you know?

Is it prudent to make that assumption?
