I really don't like this pope and wish he would just get replaced, but this is stupid. He was only talking about being outside the church and thinking that you can be truly close to God. He said nothing about having a close relationship with God being bad while you belong to the church.

These two statements cannot exist at the same time. If he stands ex cathedra, it's impossible for him to be heretical. Because by what measure could you call him a heretic? What greater authority can you compare him to? Scripture? Says who? So THEY are the infallible ones then. But who says what to that? And so around and around it goes.

You'd have to argue against papal infallibility then. Which one is it? Which do you want?

God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are One God in the Holy Trinity and yet separate (God the Father is God, God the Son is God, God the Holy Spirit is God, but God the Father is not God the Son and not God the Holy Spirit). Maybe I worded it wrong, but I believe in Trinity. I'm also a Catholic, have a deep personal relation with God and I accept the authority of the one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church and it's representatives, unless they go against God's word.
