How do we know the bible was talking about Egypt whenever it mentions Egypt? The story of the Exodus sounds like it could take place just about anywhere and there is no historical evidence of Israelites in Egypt.

You're reasoning backwards. If the ancient document says Egypt you presume it means Egypt unless there is compelling evidence in the negative, not an absence of supporting evidence.

What other place has pharohs and a red sea? Those are both named in Exodus
