Yes, Viridian was chaotic, but for a very different reasons. It's difficult to start from scratch when you have literally hundreds of newfriends passing through for days and dozens of outside shit stirrers trying to get their fun in.
I don't know the state of chancer (and I'm not any of the previous posters in this thread), but Chancer isn't starting from scratch (in the sense that you're all existing players, all know each other, etc), it isn't newfriends leading newfriends, it doesn't have hundreds of people passing through... The only similarity is that outsiders are fucking with you, but the difference is, they fucked with Viridian because it was an easy target or because they felt threatened, and they couldn't resist messing with such an insane number of newfriends, they're fucking with you because they don't like you, the shit you do, and the way you portray yourselves (not necessarily you specifically, I mean in general). The attacks on Viridian stopped, they made friends, people (Titan mostly) helped them, but they stood up for themselves. They had amazing PR as well.
And yeah, Viridian had some authentic drama, that's what made it so great.
