I've decided to stay away from this drama but I do want to say this.

At first I thought Dark and Kallak both deserved what they got. Now I don't. As Dark said HanTzu could have talked to them. His claim that "?" was him communicating with them is laughable.

I also do not understand why they were kept pearled when both said that they would repair the damages. For justice? It's not justice, It's pettiness.

This has cost us dearly. Most new friends we get don't stay active and I fear that it will take a very long time before we get two that are as active and helpful. I say two as I'm afraid we might have lost them both. I also think they're both still pearled after two days.

Dark had a point when he said that an ally doesn't pearl an ally without trying to sort things out. It's been done before but it doesn't make it right. An ally should at least release them when they offered to repair the damage they caused.

I don't want to be dragged any deeper into this mess but I felt that I wanted to make my voice heard. I regret that it had to be this public but I wanted to stay anonymous as we've had enough drama.

Please release them. There might still be a chance they've both cooled down and want to return. We need them both. If they find themselves still in the end it will for sure be the last we see of them.

DarkCrow and Kallak are both being held for both griefing and stealing. Whether or not the intention was bad or good, it goes without saying that the behavior they exhibited is universally considered a crime in MC.

When you say pettiness, you don't take into consideration that this is a repeat offense. They literally griefed/raided GTA days earlier.

Look, I get it, two members of your community are pearled. That excuses nothing. Kallak isn't a new friend so he knew better, and DarkCrow already got in trouble once before so he knew better, too. Had this been a case where they had both been brand new and didn't know any better and there was no room for doubt about that? Obviously I would sentence them differently.

I explicitly told DarkCrow he would not be pearled longer than four days. It is day three, the day I intended on unpearling him. I stick to my word, and you may consider him unpearled after reading this. Kallak is being held two days longer. He is more than welcome to contact me and negotiate his terms.

DarkCrow, as you all insist on saying is a newfriend and should be treated as a newfriend, is not going to be a familiar face to anybody who doesn't play in pol area. The only thing anybody knew was that he had just griefed GTA. Honestly, I see your point. But weighing the options, it's still better to pearl first and ask questions after. And if you morally dont agree with that, logistically it's for the best to ensure the offender doesn't log out after combat tag or run away.

It's important to speak when what you say has actual contribution to the issue at hand. That being said, I would have had a much harsher sentencing had I not spoken to members of Pol. Not only that, I would like to point out that I was the one to reach out to DarkCrow about his crimes, and the first question I asked was to give his side of the story.

I asked HanTzu to pearl them after he confirmed and had evidence that they were griefing. Yearn, who was the most significantly affected, gave them both VERY light punishments. Frankly, the fact that they might quit over this should not and does not have even a slight impact on their sentencing.

I like how I'm getting the blame for shit, I pearled them but I'm not the once who sentenced them. They were caught griefing, the pearling was legitimate by all means, 100%. I actually care a lot if new players quit, that's why I've always been extremely lenient with them in the past. But this was not up to me in the slightest, in fact if you actually clicked the screenshots i linked you'd see that I fully expected them to be released ASAP. 1. Due to Kallak's pearling and possible quitting, he is temporarily removed from his position as temporary Director of Railroads. If he is not quitting and is unpearled, he will be reinstated until the return of Pecheur from vacation sometime next week.

2. Bob_Namg, I would like you to terraform the area next to the Reich eagles in the east of Volkstadt. There is a dirt cliff and other such garbage. Please make it look pretty. I'll be around to give access to dirt if you need it.

I might not be as active in the coming weeks, as school approaches and I see friends more than before. I also need time to think about a few things about my real life and I can't do that while arguing autistically over a block game. Please understand that I'm not quitting, but I'll be less active. In the meantime, I'm appointing Aukfear as my Director of Olympics. Any decisions regarding the Olympic Monorail or other tasks there are to go through him and him alone, and any decisions he makes I will abide by within reason.
