I haven't, I liked, and still do, the idea of nations that are not populous or distinct enough to be their own nation, yet still undeniably both traits, being Satellite, Puppet, Federalised, whatever you want to call it, nations of larger ones. Assuming that there is consent and willingness from both sides. My problem with Spainland is that the sheer unrealised potential and opportunity, the result of which I can find no explanation. It may have something to do with Spainland being somewhat made up of IRL friends (if memory serves correctly), but I don't see a clear link there.
It gripes me to see a nation with every variable in their favour not prosper, there's a coastline for fishing, or bots to do so, there's flat land and perfect conditions to cultivate pumpkins, wheat, melons, produce of all types that with a little bit of Polynesian funding could create functional and large automatic or semi-automatic farms for XP production or any other use. It is unfathomable to me to see how a sattelite state of what is a fair amount of the time arguably the most populous and active nations in the server, with abundance of food, wealth and materials, fail so spectatularly, I'd imagine I'd see some kind of Francoist state from you, where shit gets done, be it XP production, being a breadbasket or just plain old getting rich. Nations with half the opportunities you have have become by any measure succesful, but somehow Spainland is instead in Cobble Huts talking about "Las Colonias" and heating up relations with /k/ (Yes, it turns out stealing and then saying "lol was meme" still pisses people off you gringo).
Here's what your new foreign policy should be:
- Leave /k/ alone, even if they start shit with you don't respond.
- Follow Papa's Footsteps
You've got everything there waiting for you so why don't you just do it already, whatever the fuck you decide "it" to be.
