 No.25230

>tfw no /mu/, /tv/, /fa/, /jp/, or /r9k/ town

Why do none of the best boards play?

 No.25231

>>25230

Do it faggot, get some of them and make some new towns we have an assload of land

 No.25232

/jp/ is already kind of Gensokyo/Aki

I need to advertise soon but I'm too lazy ;_;

 No.25238

A /mu/ town has been proposed and immer suggested a very clever way of shilling there. The question comes down to whether KyleKoala is willing to actually do what is necesary to set it up.

Get some guys to repopulate TItan. It'd be worth it. Just be careful and try to lay low until you cna defend yourself.

 No.25283

>tfw no /k/ town

 No.25286

>>25283

there is a fucking k town

 No.25287

I'd support a /mu/ town but only if they allow sharethreads

 No.25293

>>25287

They'd better, sharethreads are the only reason to go to /mu/.

 No.25294

>>25276

Repopulating Titan is a no no

No way to get rid of reinforcements easy and there is just a giant crater in the center, It's about as usefull as Intis right now.

better course of action is to make a new /b/ city far away but still reachable.

A suggestion was to place it in old 7k7k land and build a nether factory. (7k7k is by the U3P)

 No.25295

>>25294

There are a lot of potential locations out to the East. 7k7k is next to The Isle of Sor, which immer doesn't want griefed by /b/-tards. It could be further south towards Blackcrowne in the Reunion of Soviet Socialist Republics without much consequence to Chanada itself.

I think the pros of those two locations is that if they weren't total faggots they would probably increase our standing with the U3P simply by proximity. It would also heavily reinforce our land claims out there to potential conquering forces and homesteading redditors.

The other locations that have been suggested are both directly to the West of /A/kihabara to reinforce our claims by the vault and to keep the /b/-tards close in so we can monitor them in case they do stupid shit. On the other hand, they could easily grief our cities by being closer. We could also make it south of Titan, but we couldn't make a netherfactory there, so it would isolate them and not really help us much in terms of strategy or diplomacy.

 No.25296

serious question here, why doesn't Chanada have some kind of border wall/fence? A wall would need bastions and would be more expensive, but just a fence like 3 blocks high to demarcate would rob intruders and invaders of any kind of b-but i didnt know i was in chanada response.

 No.25297

>>25296

Immelol was leading a "Great Wall of Chanada" project at one point. The issue is, Chanada is absolutely fuckhuge. We're easily the largest nation on the server if you include the FAGT lands, so walling us in would take more blocks than we have total, especially if we made the wall looked good and were reinforced. Now, if we only put signs or a small wall or a fence or something along only the land borders, now that I could see.

>>25296

The "I didn't know I was in Chanada response" will be used by two people, newfags who need to learn not to toe the line, and oldfags who need to learn that we mean business, it would be cuckoldry to suggest we waste resources building such a monolithic wall just to defend our sovereign land.

They'll either learn our borders on their own terms, or they'll be forced to learn them.

 No.25299

>>25297

>>25298

I guess a "great wall of Chanada" would be impractical at this point. But a fence would be cheap as fuck to put up, it would just be stone reinforced and maybe 3 blocks high. Easy to pass through, but it gives every newfag and oldfag and ledditor and whoever a clear idea of where our empire begins and ends.

>>25299

You're missing the point, why the fuck should we have to take any extra effort to prove to the redditors who we are and where we are? The responsibility is on their shoulders, not ours.

Our borders are clearly marked and available on any map, ignorance is a choice, if they refuse to respect our sovereignty then we shall bring them to heel.

 No.25301

>>25300

makes sense, i just have a hardon for defensive structures since this is the only server ive seen where there are actual siege mechanics at all beyond just tnt cannoning things to dust

 No.25317

File: 1434229059265.jpg (343.87 KB, 1500x1500, 1:1, Dick.jpg)

>>25301

There's defensive structures, then there's stone reinforced fences.

The way to create good defences in this game is to consolidate resources, if you can't make as secure as the game allows it to be, don't build it.

10 DRO is worth 10000 SRF

 No.25346

>>25317

that makes sense, and the structures that we already invest all our dro/manpower into building are vaults. Maybe the Chanada vault should serve as a functioning fortress too? capable of housing a garrison with beds, food, stockpiles etc.

Not inside the actual pyramid obviously, that would be retarded

>Maybe the Chanada vault should serve as a functioning fortress too? capable of housing a garrison with beds, food, stockpiles etc.

In theory it sounds like a good idea, but I don't know how extensive or elaborate the Chanada vault is.

 No.27660

>>25230

Part of the reason I'm settling /tg/ is so we can have an excuse to run infra down that way, and make it possible to settle more FAGT frontier land without the towns being far away from civilization

 No.27661

>>25346

In any ringed vault there is a tower floating above the center with everything you listed inside

 No.27670

>>25283

I feel like you fight over everything beamish.

At this point, everyone knows not to just wander into Chanada and expect that to go hunky dory. We have enough soldiers to ensure we can hold back the tide.

>>25346

Not entirely necessary, as another anon pointed out the tower for defense will have the supplies needed for a protracted siege. What SHOULD be done is have a large defensive fortress abutting the side where newfags and otherwise nonfighters can hail arrows down on the enemy forces.

 No.28095

>tfw no /lit/ town where everything is made entirely of bookshelves
