National Socialism is essentially Nationalism + Socialism. It's neither a left wing, nor a right wing ideology.
It combines tenets of both Right Wing and Left Wing, and creates a fusion. Normally we call this Fascism or Third Position, but the case with National Socialism is a little different. It's not specifically Fascism. Fascism is a word that gets thrown around a lot, but the only true followers of Fascism would be the Italians under Mussolini, and arguably Francoist Spain and Peronist Argentina.
National Socialism is a fusion between Nationalism and Socialism and to really understand what it is you have to understand what Nationalism and Socialism mean in the concept of the German Language.
Many people get confused as they don't really understand the concept of Nationalism and think it only to Patriotism, this is wrong on many levels. They also attribute socialism to the teaching of Marx this is also very wrong on many different levels.
First of all true Nationalism is the belief that all Nations(a Nation is a group of people united by religion, language or culture) deserve the right to a homeland, and that you should always put your Nation first as the Nation is an extension of the Family. A true nationalist would support the state of Israel, at least the idea of a state of Israel. (Maybe in the Caucus region? Closer to Khazaria) This may come as a surprise considering some of the actions of Hitler, but I don't really consider him to follow the TRUE tenets of National Socialism.
Socialism in this context is a non-marxist kind. National Socialism is inherently anti-Marxist. Socialism in this context is that the government should exist only to server the Nation, now if you're sitting to yourself and thinking, "Wowie how can serving the Nation be good? That sounds like Stateism!" Please go re-read the definition of Nation. A more simplified and less accurate way of putting it would be, the State exists only to serve the People. But the state shouldn't exist to serve all people. It should exist to serve your family, your nation. Not some random immigrants here to leech off your state welfare. No, it should serve the people that truly need it and the people who've lived here for hundreds of years, your Nation.
