If selection is wise then Reddit recruitment for Rick (who has already looked to Tumblr) is alright. It's funny that I've seen more cancerous autists from Chanada than anywhere else in the server. In fact, Reddit towns have been the nicest I've ever seen. It's almost as if you guys wanted to hate them and created the hate between us on purpose.

That being said, we should still stay true to our theme here in Chanada and have minimal Redditors. It is not bad, however, for necessary immigration to places like spainland that are populated by two active people.

Yes, TTAM, Shadowjay, Duke, and VitaCoco hurt relations a little (TTAM especially), but there were far more people helping us than there were hurting us. It's the ABR that drove the anti-reddit (I'm talking literally the website here, not the state of mind / culture like oldfriend mentioned in the other thread) mentality and isolationism into everyone's head and continued recruiting on that premise. We would have managed fine without that.

Well, it does, until they get to know the server and realize that removing reddit is impossible and that this isn't a war/raid server and then they get dissillusioned and quit. The vast majority of the 'remove reddit' type of person are adrenaline junkies who have no ability to power-play and play the long-term game, so they don't fit in whatsoever on Civcraft. Sure, you can get twenty people in a few days, but what sense does it make when literally all of them quit? In the past several months, I have seen numerous shill attempts by /V/ersailles that have included "remove reddit" and not a single new person has stayed. NOT ONE. Myheadissquare was recruited by a /pol/ thread and remembered some of you guys from 4craft and he was the only one to stick around for more than a few days, until he too quit because there was basically nothing for him to do in /V/ersailles other than goof off. If you want people to stick around, try being more transparent, try involving them in things, try actually connecting to them. Simply saying "gee, come join and remove reddit" and then handing them some tools and a plot of land and saying "alright, now we can't remove reddit within the forseeable future, so just kinda fuck around until my friends and I power-play us into a war with reddit".
