>Novacaesar and her government have resigned

>Vienna has seceded according to the legal governor, but Nova's supposed appointee claims that it's not

>said appointee threatens war with the GNA if they interfere to support the legal governor's secession

>SPQR seems to support said secession and they are a major player in the GNA

>Chrispie smugly standing back and declaring that any tension whatsoever leads to war with Kaiserin

And so the stage is set. If the GNA interferes whatsoever in any of the drama, it will be considered war with the CKR and thus against the HKE. Despite the extremely dire situation, SPQR, a main member of the GNA, seems to be backing Vienna's right to secede and thus the potential for intervention literally rides on a single pearling by any side, because any action taken against the secession will probably be moved against by the GNA. So in essense, due to the Vienna issue, we are looking at GNA vs HKE with almost certainty, assuming that a conflict doesn't lead to a collapse of either organization due to the bullshit of any particular member. So the balkanization could spread and the chaos will sink the entire -,-. Basically, the network of treaties and world peace is about to come crashing down due to ChrisChrispie's antics weakening the position of NovaCaesar and bringing the CKR's government down. Hopefully, Oldfriend's power play he mentioned earlier might soon be upon us, since he said high summer. With these new developments, a little push by him could take the whole world to war.

Nothing interesting really does happen in Chanada, of course the interesting shit is happening in -,-. And once Nova's shenanigans are spent CivCraft will be a world almost completely free of geopolitical tension.

/civ/'s drama factories are almost fueled entirely by the actions of MtF transexuals. The depletion of this value conflict-generating resource would basically spell the end of war as even a concept in the game. With Nova on the verge of quitting, kovio only moderately active, and peramene gone, the amount of geopolitical occurrences per month has fallen dramatically.

The solution, and I can't believe I'm saying this, is more trannies.

More trannies means more conflict, and more conflict means more !!fun!!.

You have your answer, /civ/. It's the only way to avert crisis.

Wealth is irrelevant as to whether or not he'll actually instigate a happening.

A lot of people on this server are wealthy as fuck and they do fuck all with it. They'd rather circlejerk with treaties than actually follow through with territorial ambitions.

The day I see Chanada take a major city and occupy it is the day I'll eat these words.

 No.28105

>>28104

It's because they're afraid of being crushed by whoever is bigger than them. When a nation argues over something with another nation or a bigger entity, it results in a treaty. The fighting begins when two huge groups disagree with each other. The reason a large group won't attack a single nation is so they won't have their reputation fucked, and the reason the single nations won't attack a large group is so they won't get fucked in general.

What makes you think the plan has anything to do with occupying cities? For what reason would a Chanadian government want to occupy Carson, or Commonwealth, or Mount Augusta?

Let me spin you a yarn, young ones. My identity is hidden not because of any stupid, vainglorious reason, or because I'm living a perpetual meme. My identity is hidden because my work is too dangerous to reveal. I've given no details of my plans, because the risk is too great for a disruption. The silly Titan fight was a major distraction -- if not for it, I likely would've had it finished by now. That set me back months, by no fault of their own. Imagine if the canvass you were trying to paint on suddenly broke in two and tried to swallow the other half. That's what I faced when this whole Libertas thing started. That set me back another few months. But at long last, I think there's been long enough server stability to activate the plan. I've gotten the diamonds I needed some weeks ago, the rest of the plan has been all busy work. At this point it's an inexorable avalanche, headed towards the entrenched elites of this server.

Soon enough, friends. Soon enough. I've always spoken of the rise of Chanada. I cannot rise you up on your own, you must take the opportunity. It will not be easy, but soon enough there will be a Chanadian primacy. People will not speak of the Carson influence, or the Hjatland influence. They will speak of the Channer influence, almost as if we'd been here since the day the map was set.

Take heart. Haters, keep on hating.

I will, however, share this little piece of data, this tantalizing morsel: the strategic placement of alt-accounts. The best place for a new alt to have the most influence? A newfriend town. Care to guess what newfriend towns have been making the news lately?

I leave now. Doubt me if you wish, but the reckoning is coming.

Well, to be fair, the -,- does have the greatest potential for World War at the moment. And with the MTA incident, things seem to be moving ever further towards some sort of major conflict, though who will be on what side we cannot say, beyond that Nox, HKE, and Chanada will probably form a bloc. The real question is whether places like SPQR or Bryn join us. SPQR's treaty with Nox, and Bryn's general dislike of the WP could be exploitable. The U3P is the real wild card, but we could slowly carve them up by allying them one by one. Reestablish our friendship with Kolima, establish a relationship, even outright allying, with Hobbyist, given that he allied with Novacaesar, so if Nova completes her move to the deep -,+, we'd be hemmed in by two allied cities on either side. We could also attempt an alliance with MTA, especially given that the WP seem to have a hate-boner for them.

If you're to be believed, you're taking cues from COINTELPRO tactics inside vulnerable communities to either take control of them or the kill them should they present a threat. You make it sound like you have a network of alts, when in reality you probably have just 3 or 4 in the right places and times.

It sounds rather insidious, and as impressive as such an undertaking may be, it sounds rather dirty and if it turns out to be true could cause Chanada more harm than good. Nobody likes a traitor, after all.

There's a reason why COINTELPRO is universally condemned today. Rethink your tactics, or be certain you won't get Chanada implicated in any of it. Chanada's been through enough, it doesn't need a spy scandal on its hands.

Even after chris' friend griefed everything and ran off with the goodies people still played for a month or so after chris was gone, then the mass quitings shrekt everything.

Honestly, the whole reddit debacle is confusing to me. You guys were a bunch of criminals and exiles, why did you expect to even last? How could you possibly compete with Chanada when your only source of new players who shared your culture were other Chanadian exiles? In fact, why were people like you exiled to begin with, as opposed to pearled? I gotta say, due to you in large part, we now have a "no exiling" rule, it's either pearl or don't.

The no pearling was due to the fact that the vast majority of us either weren't actually criminals (joined from 4chan/8chan, nobodies no one cares about), there was no proof, or the 'crimes' wouldn't be considered crimes by the powers that be, i.e. the WP and powerplayers, and thus there was no way the pearls could be held.

Founding the country on simply being a rival to chanada was a dumb thing, but it wasn't my idea, I just went along with it and bantzposted and the like. It was stupid however, considering our main pull was 'we aren't trannies', which whilst true, isn't nearly enough to net people.

We didn't base our culture on being exiles, we just based it on our belief that chanada had failed and we were the second attempt. Not a particularly good idea when the original is still breathing.

Allow me to step in here, Chanoose was never meant to compete with Chanada, at least from the drawing board, it was intended to be another Chan state that was "better" than Chanada, we knew from the start that we most likely wouldn't have the population to compete with Chanada, and it was a big boost to everyone's ego when we found out we were sitting on an incredible amount of wealth for a starting nation.

The idea of it being better than Chanada was based in its constitution and the politics of it, this is shown in the constitution, written by me, NES and occasional input from Prioma here and there. The idea from the beginning was to have the 3 philosophers as a "rear-guard" a bit like an Ayatollah, except not wielding massive executive power, the 3 philosophers would essentially make sure the government stayed relatively small and kept in check by experienced players, which is why all 3 Philosophers had to agree on a successor before one of them left their seat, also having 3 equally powerful unelected heads of state makes it seem a lot less like a dictatorship, except in Icenia because no-one knows the fucking names of the other two.

In theory, it was a good idea, everything was checked and balanced, and every right we believed was fair and just was granted. In Practice it should have worked too, the one thing I didn't account for was that having Autistic Spics and Incompetent Micks as your comrades doesn't produce good results. Long story short, after a scrap in Skype over another one of NES's bullshit ideas (these were plentiful) being rejected he declared that the system was "shit" and that handing all power to the Senate and creating a President via a direct democratic process would somehow be more secure and prosperous. Irish got butthurt, killed some horses and was driven out of town, we literally haven't heard from him since, he might have killed himself. I made the desicion to stick around after the fight to keep the original system was lost, mainly because my only strong "ally" in said fight was the natural populist and only elected President, Prioma.

So, along came a spider.

I'll stop typing now because 1) nobody reads this shit and 2) I can't give you scrounging fucks half my book for free

Fucking off freud, I lived in 42 without any power, I had none before I got elected in chan.os, of which I never actually used that power until cast came bounding along, and I was actually the second choice for the judge at beamish's trial.

As I've said before, I've given practically everything I've ever earned on this server away for free. I even left behind chests full of goodies meant for me at the playpen, never asked for reps, and the only people I've ever placed a bounty on were cast and friends when they tried to take chan.os, despite being shat on multiple times by others.

Doesn't sound like someone self-centred does it? I won't pretend I'm a saint, but I'm not literally hitler either.

If a statement so simply as "Doesn't make sense to shrek your own stuff", which doesn't have any further meaning other than what it literally says, is enough to sway you, then you were never really for letting me back in in the first place.

I'm insulted you actually think I'm stupid enough to give away vast tracks of land in exchange for a smaller one, plus reps, just for the chance of griefing again, which can be done anyway (not that I'm implying I'm planning to).

I think you underestimate chrispies position in international political frays right now.

Kaiserin drama is dying down-nova sold off Kaiserin and it's going to be split from what the GNA sub says between Icenia, Volterra, and SPQR.

So no more conflict in the -,-.

From the looks of it as well, Chrispie is pulling in old players into Iceland and the people who live there are starting to make a decent amount of money.
