Talk to Immelol or Kovio in mumble for a 5 hour chanadan history lesson, or an even longer lesson on Rhodesia. They've been around since 1.0 so they know all that old shit.

About a year ago I was browsing /v/ and I saw a thread about minecraft,

A lot of poster were going to The city of Stoneark to make a /v/ city on civcraft, they were going to call it Viridian.

I log in and proceed to make my way to -1800, 8000.

I spend an hour and a half walking and I fall off a cliff and die, I decide that I don't want to continue so I log off and don't play again.

Later during the 4chan exodus I took a look at 8chan's boards, I happen to see a board called /civ/, I see a lot of interesting things, autists accomplishing things.

I decide to log in and try to make it to the promised land.

I get to Viridian and immediately begin collecting melons and throwing them at people.

"Fucking Daveton" is a sentence I see a lot in game.

I ask HanTzu for a plot of land and I build a shitty tower.

The second day a ghost girl holding a bone begins chasing me and hitting me with a fishing rod, and placing ominous signs around my home.

The following weeks are spent dealing with arson and grief.

It was a lot of fun, I remember there being at least 90 people in Viridian at the time, and I suspect 30% of them were griefers or arsonists.

I've met a lot of really amazing people in this game, I suppose that's why I stay.

A lot of late nights talking to Peramene, Munter, Immelol and Prioma.

I could write multiple walls of text of the adventures I've had.

Most of which I won't talk post for reasons.

I feel like I'm going to get pearled again soon. It's been a while since the last time somebody randomly showed up and pearled me.

In September, I was browsing /v/ and saw Viridian being shilled. I saw potential in the server and joined. I showed up in Viridian and flattened land for a while then built a house. I later had that house get burnt down, then I moved out of Viridian and started a (failed) project south of Viridian where I established another house on a floating island. This is when I gathered tons of materials such as glass, stone, diamonds and clay. At one point, my house just up and vanished and the person who griefed it terraformed the entire area and left signs behind about how I shouldn't have gone there. My chests were left alone and so I reclaimed my belongings and ran back to Viridian, tore down some cobbleshit structure without permission outside the walls, and started work on my infamous skyscraper

About 2 months later, Spazzy_Genius and I began talking about how it would be cool to have a place for weeaboo's in the area. After mentioning an abandoned town I would use as an outpost, we both decided to transform it into what's now Akihabara by tearing the griefed structures down.

For a while, it was just me and Spazzy slowly working on things. It wasn't until one day when Locktrap and some others mentioned to me that there needs to be a rail to Aki from the (now virtually unused) Chanada railhub. This is when Wojtek and Cloud also joined, and shortly afterward we had a boost in activity. During this time we dug the Geofront and several farms for different things. As of May, we've been just kind of doing things at a slow rate due to low activity. I plan on fixing that soon.

Of course, I'm just covering the basics of all that I remember from my journey on this server off the top of my head

If you didn't know, I've been planning on reviving Aki after finishing the school building by shilling on the boards on here. My best idea for handling any newfriends is to have them stay in a hotel and assign them a storage unit where they can keep chests connected in the same building. They'll be given the ability to buy rights to build on Aki land so we can filter some people who are just going to build some ugly stonebrick boxes or cobbleshit huts. I might also make the Geofront a place where people can build buildings hanging from the ceiling that contain shops or something.

Also, I'm going to be digging an even bigger hole out in the middle of the ocean and putting a box of obsidian on top of it sometime. The happenings draw near.
