It's taking the piss out of 'justice' on civcraft. All justice on this server is vigilante, there's no system in place to determine whether a law is unjust or whether or not a country even exists, it's just common consensus. That is how it should be, until you've got the most powerful people on the server always picking wrong, tipping the scales astronomically in the favour of the bad.

The difference between what I did and what that shop owner is doing is that he has bigger friends than I do.

If that was working neither the WP or HCF would even exist. The WP wouldn't need to even if it were actually fighting for justice and wasn't just a syndicate of powerplayers bullying anyone who disagrees with them, and HCF would be utterly useless in the face of people who will actually lock them away for good, instead of just demanding they pay reps to everyone they fought against regardless of whether or not they actually wronged them, and then releasing them after a month or so.

What crime did he commit? There's a significant difference between trying to scam people out of diamonds through fairly obvious kikery, and breaking into his chest to take his stuff. As Folters said, if you don't like his prices then don't buy from him. If you really took offense at what he's doing and wanted to stop him for the good of those dumb enough to fall for it, you could have put out a warning - either a sign nearby or a post on a relevant subreddit for whatever city it was - or better yet make a competing shop next to his offering a more reasonable price. That would sufficiently stop him from his allegedly criminal actions; at no point did the act of stealing his stuff become at all necessary.

I'll outline the obvious difference between your case and his; I shouldn't have to, but if I don't you'll keep being intentionally obtuse and repeat some bullshit about how if he can do his scamming then you can just take his stuff. In the former case, you're in no way compelled to give up your wealth by buying his overpriced stuff. In the latter case, he has no way of recovering his stolen goods - except by retaliating with force to take back what you stole. So if you're claiming that the two scenarios are analogous, you concede that he now has as much right to go pearl you and reclaim his wealth as you had to not buy from his store.

I don't care if you wanna go raid shit and pop random people's shop chests or whatever, but don't try to spin it into some act of vigilante justice once you realize people are pissed about it. You're being not only stupid, but cowardly.

You only own something so long as you can prevent others from taking it from you. IRL we have the UN, in-game there's nothing to declare that one country exists or what land it owns, it's all just based on whether people agree with you. Common consensus does not legitimise vigilantism.

Like I said, I've played since launch, it took me less than 7 hours to get geared up and ready for pvp. If someone really wants to bot, they can use a macro that bypasses the plugin, a lot of people botted in 1.0.

And civcraft didn't reveal their map either u cuck. For players like me mapping the server will be trivial.
