Wow that's extremely shitty and will never work. There's room for many memorials there but the best course of action really is to revive the town. If we have new people, fresh off /b/ or wherever willing to go to work rebuilding then there will be absolutely no issue.

To add to that most of the derelicts within the trench could be torn town within 2 days by volunteers to build newfriend housing/fit new homes/shops.

I don't think repopulating it would work or even be a good goal. New people are far less engaged and likely to stay when moving into an established-but-dead settlement. The only reason Titan was revived once before was because of hcf occupation.

Newfriends won't fully understand or care about the history behind the city, and it doesn't seem right to use them just as a "fuck you" to WP. Recruiting is good but people should be given the opportunity to pioneer new towns or join active ones.

Yes, Tran is from Viridian day one, about 11 months ago, but he doesn't really play AFAIK and would fall into the same boat as Munter I suppose (or maybe more like handsome man, considering handsome man is intis era and they both only come to shitpost). Resin is from Titan long before Viridian came into existence, but was never really involved in the 'Chanada' community up until recently. I think he introduced himself on /civ/ and posted some of his works from Titan many many months ago but then kind of disappeared from what I remember.

I for one don't believe in "le oldfag conspiracy". What people are more referring to, from what I have seen, is people from between the end of /V/iridian and the founding of /K/ompound who tend to have a very different view of what Chanada is and should be as compared to the people of Tygrus, Wulfkhaine, Spainland, /K/ountry, and a fair number of the /Pol/ynesian crowd. It's an ideological gap that comes out sometimes and I think a lot of it is because the newer players don't often see the reasoning behind the decisions and opinions of the older players. Do I often disagree with HanTzu and Reiko and other, older players? Yes. But I don't think that it's a conspiracy or some garbage and I still can find common ground with them when I talk to them.
