Hi, Sempha here, pointed to this thread by Laily.

I'd just like to make an official comment here that can be pointed to as proof for both parties.

Mir accepts and agrees with all 5 of Lailys terms.

All of your pearled accounts will be released, and their gear returned.

Access will be granted to any Chanadians that request it by at the latest 50 days from now. If you could pm /u/sempha a full list of names to add that would be good, or just request access as you need it, which ever suits you.

The rail directly to Silesia will be completed before the end of those 50 days.

Laily's payment will be dropchested in his town. And coords sent to him or anyone he asks me to forward them to ready for when he returns.

Any further necessary expansion of our territory will be done the right way this time, through you guys officially.

Officially talking for the entirety of Mir, we accept and swear to adhere to these terms.

No. Accepting any deals at this point that aren't greatly sided in our favour just makes us out to be pushovers and anyone accepting such deals is borderline treasonous. You do not get to declare war on a nation (twice) and make repeated threats and ultimatums then simply get away with it with a friendly deal that gives them nearly 2 months to give us access to land that should already be ours.

This is just a bid for time on their part so they can prepare and destroy us somewhere down the line. They were hellbent on war before, they're not suddenly backing out of the idea for no reason.

Not accepting a deal with a solution where the least harm is done to each party, just because someones honor was dented for a little while, is foolish and hot headed.

This is an opportunity for both mir and chanada to prove their honesty and their code of honor, and that its leaders are sensible enough to swallow their pride over a petty conflict.

Even if mir continued to prepare for war in the time given, chanada is much bigger, has more people to fight and collect resources and has just as much time to prepare for war.

IMO, chanada has had enough time to build a NF there, but now that somebody else has done it there is a huge conflict cause the chanadians cant access their lands more easily.

As long as chanadians really get to access that nether factory in the next 50 days there is no harm done since that NF still wouldn't exist without the mirians.

If this treaty is accepted, also chanada will benefit greatly, because they get to use a NF for free that normally wouldnt be there to access their lands more easily. Plus maybe a new trade partner if things stay kosher.

Going to have to agree with HanTzu here. Mir clearly wants to start shit with us and this is just a delaying/PR opportunity for them.

I do not trust them to grant us access. In 50 days they would have had the time to prepare for full-scale conflict.

Mir aren't delaying. I had an honest conversation with Ryden a couple nights back and he knows exactly how I feel about the entire situation.

Lysika and co have calmed down because I threatened to leave Mir if this wasn't solved without fighting.

If our two groups can get along and work together then I doubt anyone map wide can cause us trouble. A close friendship or alliance only makes us pretty much unfightable.

50 days seems pretty reasonable. My only request would be that after a month or so we do some sort of diplomatic thing so that the groups can mix in a more relaxed situation. Maybe piss around with a spleef arena or something. I know one of the chan towns has one built.

First off, that diamond offering is offending to say the least. But none of that really matters because:

I don't want Mir in Chanadian lands. I don't want Mir on a secluded island in Chanada. I want Mir to, excuse the meme, pack it up and leave. It's out of the way, surrounded by dead or barely active U3P states, plenty of breathing room, and relations with the states in this area of the world including Chanada would be able to increase. Not because you are worthless in an offensive sense, but that it's been proven that you hold no real bargaining power internally and the results would be the same whether you were there or even altbanned. You've made many promises that Lysika and crew have fallen short of that and even flat out said that what youve offered is no longer on the table, despite your best efforts. I'm not sure what to think personally about this offer, but I guess I don't have to since the rest of Chanada has their minds made up. I can't blame the for their stance at this point either, seeing Mir's gone back on guarantees that our pearls would be released, contradicted their own declarations of loyalty to Laily multiple times and made innumerable insulting threats throughout all this. Anyway, I'm not gonna waste anymore time trying to negotiate a deal; I'm on vacation now and don't wanna waste time with autismcraft dramafests. All I have to say is whatever happens, nobody had better so much as touch Akihabara.
