But I'm not and I left Grundeswald nearly a year ago and relinquished my citizenship to go join the new town of Viridian the day it was founded, I helped restore order to the city from the Reddit Rebellion and put tobyt12 back in power with the help of HanTzu and Prioma, I kicked the redditors out of Viridian with the help of Immelol and Sadfert and the rest of the Anti-Bullying Rangers, and paved way for the nationalism that you all love and feel today. Without me there would be no Chanada, and Viridian most likely would have died because the redditors would have taken it over.

For instance, what if a country grants you citizenship there but you live in a different country that doesn't allow it? You'll be living in a country that doesn't recognize your citizenship from the other country, but you are a primary citizen of the country whose citizenship is recognized by both parties. If we do push through a rule like that (which I highly doubt will happen, due to the shitstorm what would come down from Tazmily over it) it would be difficult to enforce.

Viridian at its height was still the largest city Chanada has ever known and the biggest economic powerhouse. We were churning out more than a stack of emerald blocks every day, and all of those were made with materials bought 100% from Chanadian citizens at 3x more than market price, and then those emerald blocks were then sold for 1.5d a block which was 0% profit. It was glorious.

The reason I havent helped PvP at all is beucase I'm poor. What I would be in favor of would be establishing a "primary citizenship" across the federal level of Chanada, as to prevent dual citizenship from corrupting our political system. The way I see it, Spainland and Tgyrus (or any other combination of nations that do not currently have a vote in the union) could both decide to allow dual citizenship, have all their citizens also join the other nation, and propel both of them to the necessary requirements for a vote. Whereas establishing a system of "primary citizenship vs secondary/tertiary citizenship" would not only avert that but may also form a stronger union between the confederated nations. How I see this working with citizenship outside of Chanada would be more or less how it is now.

If no one logs on, no amount of recruitment can really fill that void. Wulfkaine once had a huge population compared to its size, but now its really really small, but this was not the fault of its leaders but factors out of its control, like school and jobs and shit.

The reason Viridian died was because Kovio is an incompetent leader by himself. Kovio needed the support of the others in Viridian to keep it strong, Kovio was the head but relied heavily on others to get shit done. Kovio cannot do everything but what he can do he does well, he fills a niche in a leadership group. Kovio can argue for hours on end, network with people and can harass people to do things. You wouldn't believe how many times Kovio saved Chanada directly and indirectly using these skills. When people stopped playing in Viridian and the population went down Kovio lost respect, the people he needed to keep order and function were not playing. Unfortunately the stubbornness that made Kovio great as a leader when dealing with other nations was to his disadvantage. The town went to shit because people stopped playing, no one was recruiting and it was too hard to keep everything running in the end.
Kovio gets too power hungry at times but he is nothing without a group. In a group he is a powerful and loyal ally. You're squandering his talents, he has no power and is doing nothing. Kovio has access to so many people, is competent at pvp and has a lot of useful info. Its a waste. You need to keep in mind that Kovio doesn't try to hurt Chanada and he'll defend it to his last. That doesn't mean his plans aren't fucking retarded though. And you should be quick to tell him that his ideas are stupid if they are.
The non-rank of founder means fuck all but Kovio has done a lot of Chanada, even if he is trying to pull rank just ignore it and respect the fact that he's done a lot towards the nation.
On a side note Kovio hasn't had anything to do with Grundeswald for a very very long time, he got too big for his boots and we cut him down so hard that he gave up and focussed everything on Chanada. He transferred all groups, doesn't even have an account here and all his belongings were returned to the state. Ron Grundeswald keeps trying to get him to do though.

I actually respect a lot of the older players enormously. Even though a lot of newfriends shit on Kovio, I actually have a ton of respect for him.
That being said, respect is a two-way street. When Yearn comes into the /K/ountry mumble without warning and tells them to "shut the fuck up" without having listened to their conversation, or when Dave says that /k/ is useless and should be pearled, or when HanTzu calls people out by name on the /civ/, that's disrespectful. If you notice, none of the newfriends ever have a bad word to say about Figasaur or JoshJosh or the other people in Tazmily, /V/iridian, or /V/ersailles. What the angry newfriend above said is true, most of the hate is directed at HanTzu, Reiko, Yearn, and Kovio and it is usually for a very good reason. The only exceptions to this are Kovio (who hasn't done anything much in the past six months to warrant the amount of angst) and Reiko, who I firmly believe knows what must be done for Chanada to survive. The only reason he gets blasted is because of his delivery, not his actual opinions.

Chanada was declared as a thing a whole lot earlier than it had any business being so. It was a name given to the union between Viridian and FAGT that also claimed Intis. The first Chanada, if I had to use a comparison, was a lot more like the old German Confederation in that it did absolutely nothing. I think Aki was part of it as well just by virtue of it being founded by people from Viridian.
After Versailles was established and the Titan war waned, Polynesia took a leading role and reformed Chanada into what it is today. I'm pretty sure green messaged immer and said "either you unite chanada or grundeswald will" in a tongue-in-cheek manner and a couple days later the first meeting with votes was held.
immelol was only involved to the extent that he was there during the very earliest discussions on what Chanada should be. I'm totally ignorant to camo's involvement so I wouldn't be surprised if I'm leaving out a huge part.
Basically, Viridian era Chanada = German Confederation
