A lot of important dates for Chanada are coming soon and I think we should do something for these days, and come up with names for these events.
September 20th - The Date Chanada Was Founded (Chanada Day?)
September 6th - The Founding of Viridian (Viridian Day?)
Dates that are important that I don't have;
Founding of Intis
Founding of Versailles
Founding of Polynesia
Founding of Kompound
Founding of Spainland
Founding of FAGT/Titan
Founding of Akihabara
Ratification of the First Constitution of Viridian
Any other things people can think of?

Why do people insist on this point? I've literally had a half hour debate about this point before in /k/ mumble and people still hold to this myth that /k/ is older than it actually is.
It was started April 13th, on the dot, and I would know, because I started the thread and took screenshots and saved the ENTIRE THING. Here's proof of it.

That seems right. Looked thru my screenshots and the earliest one with evidence of /k/ is a pic from the 19th of the bridge Knealz built between them and Aki.

/k/ can do what they want. The first players were the founders, but Bgbba was thread OP - and that's a fact.

>"/k/ was founded earlier than April 13th"
>get proven wrong by OP of the thread
>"YOU'RE NOT RELEVANT"
I never said I was. I literally NEVER claimed any foundership of /k/. I don't rest on my laurels. You guys have done what you have done of your own accord. My involvement has been...essentially nil. And that's exactly how I wanted it. I didn't want fame, if it hadn't been for Rick spilling the beans during the Spainland-/K/ conflict, I would never have taken credit for bringing /k/ onto the server, because never wanted it. I'm not the founder of /k/ any more than Sashiimi is the founder of Chanada because he shilled on /b/ and got the ball rolling. Don't think that me proving you guys wrong about when you were founded is me taking credit for anything, because it's not.

Well, I found the day that I first laid claim to what became Akihabara. That day was December 6th 2014. Gonna keep going to find out later important dates. Looking through the pictures of what Aki used to be before we removed all the shit buildings and put new ones up is almost surreal.

The ABR tanked the economy for one but I can't be fucked to argue so pic related
No.31755
>>31752
The ABR created the economy... And managed to pay above market rate and still made a (small) profit while selling emeralds at way below market rate.
The argument that ABR tanked the economy comes from people like you, Intis, and the IDF who weren't involved in the slightest and insist on spewing bullshit.
The ABR created a market for tons farmed resources and paid above market rates, which created jobs for plenty of newfriends that were far better paying relative to any other city.
The fact that XP was sold so cheap (1.5d/E) meant that anyone else wanting to make XP could still pay more than the ABR for the raw materials within Viridian and sell the XP outside of Viridian and still make a far larger and respectable profit.
Cheap XP also meant far cheaper tools for other labourers, meaning far higher profits and time saved on other activities (or for simply mining more diamonds).
Cheap XP also opened up the opportunity for people like me, Fenix, and a few others who were smart enough to enchant tools for really cheap and sell those tools at market rates making extreme profits. I personally made tons of diamonds (probably 1k+) doing just that throughout September.
ABR also paid people for things like creating farms and whatnot, things that nobody else would have paid you far and simply expected of you to 'help'.
You weren't involved in Viridian or its economy, so I don't really think you have the place to speak.
inb4 comparisons to walmart or something stupid about 'driving out all potential competition'
That argument is wrong due to the extreme potential profit margins on XP that the ABR chose to cut in order to sell cheap XP rather than cash in on, that still would have allowed for other producers to make large profits should they choose to produce - they simply didn't want to put the effort it.
ABR also provided (relatively) high paying jobs, not the lowest possible paying crap.
No.31756
>>31755
To add to that, XP isn't the only damn market in the game, and you generally don't have more than one XP producer in a city anyway. It was also a city-wide affair powered by the players, which funded them as well as funded the government for shit like snitches, bounties, vaults, gear, etc.

My actual plan after the IDF theoretically took power was pretty much warmongering tbh, when I was recruited I expected war and ebin fun; not boring diplomacy with leddit. I was sick of sitting around, doing nothing. I wanted to watch the server run and cower as Chan Soldiers purified the server; I wanted Chanada to world relevance, I wanted to burn down the SJW towns like Iria. Mount Agusta would have been spared for granting us support, but much of the server would be razed in the name of the chins.
But instead we sat around. Did nothing. It was so boring that after the IDF revolt died, I effectively had no reason to play civcraft anymore; I moved on from Minecraft, onto games like EU4 and CK2. By the time anything happened (Titan) I was long gone,
