Generally, I would agree with this sentiment. I have a dislike of one-man nations that claim massive amounts of land. But, if they plan on shilling and coming back (/A/kihabara and Tygrus, for instance) I don't see a problem with it.

I'll be sure to bring the population back up at some point. For now though, I plan on digging another big hole (though it'll be more of an independent project) out of autism. That got me a lot of money the last time, so I'm going to do it again. Maybe I'll have the entire bottom layer of the map mined out one day.
