So why isn't anything being done?

ATTENTION PVP'ers

It is your duty to mentor active players to be able to defend themselves and contribute to any military operations. Show them the basics, the equipment, the tactics... take them to other servers and spar with them. Show them the benefits of enchantments. Help them become as good as you, or at least halfway competent.

The biggest complaint I hear is that there aren't enough good PVP'ers in Chanada... fucking do something about it.

ATTENTION CHANADA BUREAUCRACY

Why aren't you subsidizing money and resources to players willing to fight? You should be helping citizens arm themselves so they can contribute to any war effort. Every citizen should have a set of armor, weapons, and pearls. Maybe give certain citizens who graduate from the war academy a basic starter set and show them how to produce their own equipment later on themselves.

Tactical Missions

It doesn't make sense that when there are 8 people online in /pol/ alone there aren't scouting or raiding parties being launched into Mir lands or the nether. It doesn't take a full scale attack on their obsidian bunker to win the war.

Scouting Missions:

probe the outskirts of their lands or even just the frontiers of Chanada, look for their players who are mining, cutting down trees, derping or afk'ing. Patrolling the territory of Chanada should be done frequently anyway but isn't being done at all.

Raiding Missions:

- Do what the Vikings did - Sometimes it's just enough to destroy crops, break into private chests, or burn houses down to lower their morale. 2 or 3 hard PVP'ers followed by a group of normies to grief. This should be done especially if there's enough chan players online and hardly anyone else. Burning crosses, swastikas, and propaganda signs for added effect.

unfortunately pvping is a skill which not all players are good at, even if theyve been practicing

we have, but besides, giving every citizen fake prot would still cost upwards of 50d per person, and since most cities only have a basic tax system, there is no way that this is sustainable

our enemy has relocated to an unknown, probably fortified position and they lack a civilian population, I dont know why youd think this works

This is begging the question. The more valid question is, what IS being done? And from what I can see, we're simply producing XP and waiting for Nox to stomp TBcrew. While I don't see a value in rushing forward, I do think that it is critical that SPQR-Nox-Chanada sit down and actively set some goals for what to have ready when (or if) the time comes.

100% valid. There are a TON of people who I can easily stomp on Kohi, but should by all means be better than me, particularly the members of /K/. Syncrates, you claim to be former HCF and a good PvPer. Show your men how to fight, for God's sake.

Nope. Every citizen should have access to logout boxes, but not everybody should have prot. I can assure you that 90% of Chanada will be a net loss of money to arm and if you give them access to prot, the minute Mir/TB/Celoxia shows up at their gates, they will panic, put on armor, and get EZ'ed, wasting literally hundreds of diamonds worth and many hours worth of effort to buy or make the armor.

I will agree with this to an extent.

Alright, I've had enough of people dragging their feet. From here on out, I'm going on Kohi for an hour (when possible) every night. Anybody who wants to train PvP, come with me. If you're worse than I am, I can at least try to get you to my level. If you're better, no matter, I'll improve by fighting you. This especially applies to a lot of the newfriends, because I know you guys are feeling pissy that foot dragging is going on. Put up or shut up. Get on Kohi, train every night, and then we can talk about handing out prot.

Independent practice doesn't work very well I've learned, you gotta work with someone to get you started.

I've been working with Yearn and someone else and I've seen actual progress meanwhile when you guys practice against each other you kinda stay at the same level.

I'm glad you're all practicing but I think we should go back to the old way of doing it.

As someone who used to be a scout for /a/ on 4craft, scouting missions are deathtraps. It was a miracle that I managed to map /v/ and several other boards and make it back alive. The fact that I happened to be caught by someone who was somehow worse than me at PvP was a miracle in and of itself.

On Civcraft though, I would not be so lucky if I decided "Hey, I'm going to run through potentially hostile-occupied territory today!"

Badlion has great hack detection. I can usually tell when someone is autoclicking or if they're good tho, people mostly hack in map 13 and 16 since they're the skill kits. Tfw 3 ranked map 13 (debuff) losses because I fought 5timpay 3 times in a row
