Also, there's a way to make a "nuke" fairly easily. It's called a Super Compact Automated Mountain Placer or "SCAMP" for short. To be honest, "planes" are extremely slow and would serve almost no purpose since you could tell where they'd be going and someone would tower up to the direction it'd be going in and kill/pearl the people on-board.

We'd have to work out a plan to pull off a SCAMP. As far as I know, it's never been done before on the server and we would need to pioneer a lot of new ideas to make it work right. But let's save that talk for when we're actually at war. From what I know, we're in a sort of "peace" state as it is.

TNT doesn't work well at all. Its pissweak and you can only place so much at the same time.

Trust me I thought I'd take the easy route, dig a pilot tunnel and set up a chain. Didn't work. Thought we'd use it to break WB vaults without large enough back plates, didn't work. Used the rest to try clear a chunk hole, barely got to level 40 from water level even with optimal placing.

Its nerfed to hell and back. Don't even waste your gunpowder on it.

Sadly you cannot reinforce your planes. The reinforcement gets left behind as the blocks move

That would probably be the best use for the Piston Luftwaffe, lightly bombing unreinforced land in bastioned areas, since I am more than sure flying blocks will pass through Bastions.

Nope, they stop it. Same as any other blocks being placed in a bastion field. I think Daddo meant flying them against the bastion field so it gradually breaks the bastion similar to how you'd break one by placing blocks in the field, which as far as I know would work.
