 No.33929

HanTzu claims that I am the reason that /A/kihabara died and I really hope this isn't the case. I want to put this issue to rest now and forever and get to the bottom of this, so that we can put this argument to rest.

Am I to blame for the decline and death of /A/kihabara? And if so, in what capacity? I'm not going to even pre-emptively try to defend myself, because if I am partially at fault I will take full responsibility for it. Nor will I pre-emptively apologize. I am putting this up as an entire thread because I want to make this very clear to people who are watching.

The only thing I will say is this: if I actually am at fault, I had absolutely no idea this was happening because of me and I am truly sorry if that is the case.

>Akihabara loses all their votes

>Retards like Kompound gain votes

>Retarded things that /k/ucks and neo-chanadians spout gets taken seriously

You're just a small part of the problem tbh. Also people think you were out to take votes away from Chanadian nations.

I don't know about that but, I do remember how defeated you were that one time Viridian managed to have enough active citizens to still count as a vote

 No.33935

>>33930

It's not even just the votes. I know for a fact that Cloud was complaining about the constitution basically forcing Aki to choose between Gensokyo and Chanada, and he wanted to secede over that. He ended up quitting instead.

IDK if that applies to Woj as well, there weren't exactly many -active- citizens of /a/ left, patchy was gone, centi is probably oblivious to the situation, but 1 out 2 still makes me right.

 No.33937

>>33935

No I know, there's a few other things they had problems with too.

Not really my place though, Cloud quit and Woj seems to be happy playing in MTA.

jesus christ bg

quit being fucking autistic

did you really need to bump a thread down and make this one? holy shit quit being a butthurt bitch

>Also people think you were out to take votes away from Chanadian nations.

In the case of Atlas, I stand guilty as charged. /A/kihabara, /V/iridian, and Titan no. In fact, I pushed for the voting system to allow for countries like /A/ki to retain one vote out of two if they were rich and powerful, but didn't have a big population. Quantity isn't everything.

>>33938

>be me

>try to get to bottom of major complaint

>offer apology if I did something wrong

How is that autistic and butthurt? I'm admitting I could have been in the wrong and asking people to correct me if I am. How is that butthurt?

To bg and everyone who is butt hurt

Take the stick out of your collective asses, stop being pathetic pussies and move on. It's in the past, join a community that best suits you. If you want to cooperate with each other do so but enough with the fucking bickering.

You're all being a bunch of autistic faggets

 No.33947

I don't think the whole voting thing killed Aki. The main reason seemed to be that most people left after things got extremely repetitive and we had pretty much everything we needed, and didn't know where to go from there.

 No.33950

Things that make you go hmmm....

 No.33952

Aki died because we never recruited. I think most people just got bored or burned out with nothing new to do; people have pointed out before that Civcraft can be pretty boring when you don't have anything new going on. The only way I see we could have survived that and sustained a decent active population is by following Polynesia and recruiting on a regular basis. Unfortunately, most of us didn't really want to bother with that; the only person who really seemed interested in it was Centi, who isn't around enough to actually initiate it. The points that Reiko and the anon mentioned are mostly just issues that Cloud and myself were left with after everyone else was already gone. I don't know bg's role in the voting and constitutional stuff, since I wasn't paying much attention to it in the first place; if he was the primary one pushing for the particular voting/constitutional issues in question (and I have no clue if that really is the case), then I guess he might've been part of the reason that Cloud decided to quit when he did, and by extension the reason for me largely moving away from the city. But even if that was the case it's definitely stretching it to lay the blame for that solely on his shoulders, and either way the city was already dead by then.

rip aki ;~;

I tried advertising maybe twice, both times were failures. Spazzy tried to recruit as well, and failed. I feel as if recruiting on boards like /a/ is nigh impossible. At this point, the only thing I can do is continue mapping the world until I finally have it entirely completed. Then I can release the file for everyone to use as their map or if world downloader works with map data, (doubt it) that too.

I don't know what would happen or if I'd receive anything. But, it's something for me to do once my entire schedule will be free after this rather long period of absence starting very soon.

Did you guys ever try on 8chan's /a/? I thought that might go better than on 4chan.

>>33954

love you too bb

I miss it too. I've been spending a lot less time in general on civ recently with aki being dead and chanada having imploded

>I tried advertising maybe twice, both times were failures. Spazzy tried to recruit as well, and failed.

I remember the time Spazzy tried a few weeks ago. 8chan itself was being weird and deleted all the threads, it wasn't the mods doing. Honestly, I don't think that it's impossible at all, I think it's more a question of hitting the right combination of things to draw people in.

Yeah, got boring asf when we finished the geofront

It's ugly inside but no way to fix because most of the groups are patchy's

 No.34027

We have a steam group with like 300 members, recruit there

 No.34110

I gave literally all my groups to woj/cloud/centi

just sayin

if theres stuff I forgot it woulda taken like 2 seconds to ask me

either way aki died because the main people doing shit burned out and I hate recruiting and apparently noone else wanted to do it either

yep, that's what I was saying

I think daddo's confused about the group thing, as far as I know we have all the groups
