I'm looked around for answers for this on Google and I think I got the gist of the retarded problems Tumblr has with it.
First off world of Urbance has two sides, male and female and if they have sex together they die. Also everyone appears to be black, so it hit Tumblr POC checkbox.
People seemed to have bitched that there appeared to be no gay characters but only hetrosexual ones (or trans for some reason) in this pilot. THE PILOT.
The creators have said there will be some gay characters in the central plotline. But for some stupid reason Tumblr wants gay and trans character (and whatever other sex stuff Tumblr wants) in the fricken 22 minute pilot episode.
Basically it became a battle of either being racist or homophobia and trying to solve all of Tumblr problems with representation in a pilot episode instead of realizing that the they have to wait for the pilot to get picked up by a studio and get the funding provided to be turned into a series.
Basically Tumblr retardally wants everything to representation of everything and everyone. Unless there white.

Well, I can't say it's the worst thing I've ever seen.
The animation, and art style are nice to look at, but the voice acting's atrocious. The best sounding characters are the Mediators, and that might only be because they're being filtered through a sound mixer to give them techno-sounding monotone.
Also seems like the premise could very easily fall into 2edgy and/or 2deep territory. It could be alright if it doesn't take itself too seriously and mostly just uses the plot as a vehicle for focusing on well animated action, music, and soft-core porn.

Premise sounds interesting at first, but gets dumber the longer you think about it. Voice acting is not very good, and they need to find better people for that. Some unnecessary camera movement as well.
Art style is pretty good, animation is well done as well, although jerky at times. Hopefully it gets picked up and open the door for other adult animation projects.

Well I'm watching this. It still looks nice even if there are animation short cuts up the ass. My problem is that every single line so far has had a fucking horrendous delivery. I mean this is some of the worst voice acting I've ever heard. The only time it possibly works is with the mediators. Also sounds to me through my shitty laptop speakers that they didn't even fucking bother sound mixing the voices.
