I think I posted this before but here goes again;

The main character is Donald Trump

The shows main plot is basically Trump as president trying to build his wall and shit inevitably goes wrong along the way

The shows main antagonists are SJWs and illegal Mexicans

The shows main supporting character is John F. Kennedy

JFKs main backstory is that he was put under house arrest in the White House back in 1963 where he's been trapped by the alphabet agencies ever since in order to cover up the fact his assassination was faked. His role in the series is Trumps father figure and role model who gives Trump advice running the country when things go wrong. His main running gag or comedic trait js that he is constantly making references to previous presidents while telling stories of the trouble they got into and how they got out of it.

There is a subplot in every episode where JFK is trying to escape the White House through ridiculous means, some episodes he succeeds but ends up trapped again by the end do to the power of status quo

The show takes place in a town that's encased in a giant cube and used by the military for experiments.

Main characters are kids like in South Park, maybe less vulgar but the situations they get into are just as disturbing if not more

The main focus of each episode is a different experiment going sour before the eyes of the suits who started them.

There's a large arc involving a bioweapon that poses as rain and can be used to control population sizes and it directly affecting one of the protagonists

Also each episode is named after a song title

Considering I see a lot of Anthro and Kids I would want to shy away from both of those as main characters.

Most seem to have a slant toward the left of the ideological spectrum so that also helps narrow down how not to write.

Since most are aimed at kids I wouldn't aim at kids.

One of the biggest restriction is that this cartoon actually has to have TV viewers and we exist in a day and age when only the dumbest people still subject themselves to television programming.

The other biggest restriction is "cartoons are for kids" so factoring in both of those it has to be aimed at kids.

And you gota sell some god damn toys.

I wouldn't want to pitch an idea if it meant jumping though hoops like that and those hoops are why there is nothing original and refreshing.

I'd take something Japanese and try and westernize it and not in that faggoty "check it out, japananimation style XD" shit that is done every time.

With things like Harry Potter and Sabrina the Teenage Witch being more ingrained in the zeitgeist than Sailor Moon or Card Captors it could help make it not seem like a Japanese thing.

That pitch would be hit with comments like

Here's one I've had for years: A slice-of-life, silent cartoon about a gelatinous Lovecraftian horror who loves human society and wishes to become part of it. He dons a terrible human disguise, which everybody buys except for the local detective, who is the Wile E Coyote to his Roadrunner or the Hater to his Wander. The story involves him helping locals do their daily tasks and generally being a very warm and comfy show, with sprinkles of the detective character comedically trying and failing to reveal that he is truly a monster from another dimension.

The artstyle and colors used would be warm and inviting, akin to the way the Lovecraftian protagonist views the human race as a whole. Each episode would probably have to be pretty short, probably one or two in fifteen minutes akin to regular cartoons, to accommodate for the show not having too much of a plot to carry itself longer than that.

The protagonists are kids. 6 of them, they are based off different types. There's the innocent one, the nerd, the chav, the closet gay, the ratchet bitch, and the cross-dresser.

The innocent one is a girl, and is the main focus of the bioweapon arc. The chav is also involved in it but to a lesser extent. The nerd starts off as a minor character but eventually becomes more important.

The tone of the art is meant to be misleading. It's meant to make you think of the show as being harmless and cutesy, but then becomes more somber and cynical through the use of more muted and cooler tones.

I don't have names for the characters. But I know I would want it to shed light on topics that you don't see in the current media narrative

I re-read the entire series about a year ago, and I actually enjoyed it even more as an adult. I guess I just appreciate the amount of effort put into it more.

Now, if you're going to read the Edge Chronicles, I have to say a few things. Beyond the Deepwoods is neat as a first book, but it doesnt really represent the rest of the series. There's not really a plot in it, more a gallery of Twig's adventures. But starting from Stormchaser, they get some legit plotlines. When I read it all over again, it actually blew my mind how gruesome some parts are for a childrens series. For instance, in Winter Knights an academician was given sugar-covered wasp eggs that he mistook for candy, and then they spawned in his stomach and ate him from the inside, swarming out of his husk of a body. Fucking terrifying.

Also, I personally advice to read the original (Twig) trilogy first, then the prequel (quint) trilogy and finally the sequel 'rook' trilogy. Then there's the Immortals, which is a huge book set centuries after the three trilogies, which is the conclusion of the series, except I think they want to continue making it now. Go figure.

In a world where everyone is a literal robot, one guy who feels he's living in a grey lifeless world.

he's your usual magic science mechanic that cailwork machines and build shit like donatello but not silly and not a weeb. Being a mechanic means he's doubles as a sort of semi frankenstein scientist that could cut up and put together bots if he wanted to. though not body modification is very taboo

He works at a very powerful company as head engineer but one day is inexplicably fired. The same day he sees some sort of coincidence or suspicious activity that suggests a conspiracy.

He enlists in the help of his best friend and total bro, the bouncer/security head of the company building who is a giant like 8-9ft or something and built like a tank. (Because again, theyre robots)

Together they uncover more of the conspiracy and pick up other bots along the way including a french cooking bot with fire abilities who acts like gordon Ramsay and a bot reminiscent of The Rocketeer but a girl, she rockets around and is atom punk styled.

There are other bots but I'm not going to list them all unless people want to hear more.

Suffice to say there is a creeping danger coming to a head and they cobble together a robot team to stop it. A little like the same feel tmnt had with foot ninja and the kraang.

Along the way he learns to not be so depressed and robotic and has fun times with his bros tankbot and Ramsaybot and co. Occasional bouts of sad episodes and actual major character death.

Never got a proper name for it so I just called it:
