Rev up them poopsocks, /co/, it's time to marathon a netflix show before anyone on /co/ can spoil it for you.
God damn that's a stupid costume.

I didn't have a problem with the costume as much as the pants-on-head posing that went on in the fight with Kingpin. The choreography had been pretty good up until that point.

On episode 5 now, playing on the other half of my screen and christ is it getting boring, Punisher arc was kind of silly but fun (irish maffia, sure thing), I don't know who this Elektra woman is or why I should give a shit.
Either way, this shit better introduce a compelling villain soon, Kingpin and Donofrio's representation was one of the few reasons I enjoyed season 1.

Just made one. Here you go, it looks pretty shity
Daredevil is still remains the best thing that Marvel did in MCU. Second season has similar beats to first one: To hallway scene they have a Staircase fight scene with Dogs of Hell, Stick makes appearance kinda in the same place as first season, so does Matt's big argument with Foggy. However there is something new to the table, like Punisher, whose portrayal is better than I expected to be. Electra while annoying is just segway to more interesting subplot which is The Hand vs the Chest. Overall it's alright. Pretty great by Netflix standards and god tier by MCU standards.

yeah that scene wasn't shot as well as the one in season 1, they tried to make it look like it was a tracking shot, but all the disguised cuts were really obvious
apart from that, good fight scene. fighting with a chain or rope like that, wrapping it around guys throats from 5 yards away, is always satisfying, even though it's basically physically impossible - maybe because it's physically impossible

this. A little disappointed so far tbh, feels like they're only rehashing all the 'cool' points of S1 without coming up with anything new. Punisher scenes are enjoyable, but I feel like I've seen this whole hitman thing done better in other shows/movies.

I appreciate that she's a better version of Elektra than the movie, but they spent the entire last season emphasizing how important it was for Matt to have some goddamned body armor, instead of just fighting crime in a t-shirt.

There's a difference between Edgehog and genuinely dark. Daredevil has a dark tone and plot, but there's nothing terribly edgy about it aside from the fact that people get killed.

I wasn't entirely confident about their casting choice for Frank, but then he actually came on-screen. He stomped around like he was a damn horror movie monster, had this way of carrying himself through scenes that told you that he was going to do some ugly shit. It was great to watch, even when I was cringing.
I liked how they incorporated the skull.

I did at first but they he just plastered it on his chest for no explanation. Should of been his squad's symbol or something.

>I did at first but they he just plastered it on his chest for no explanation
Considering how often they incorporated the x-ray of his skull with the bullet hole throughout the series, the scene where he told Karen that he was already dead, and that right before he adds the skull he's looking at both the x-ray and a news headline that says "Frank Castle Dead" I think it was meant to show that he was metaphorically "dead" and had completely become the Punisher.

If you want to get into it, consider it symbolic.
It's a recurring idea that Frank Castle the person is dead, leaving only The Punisher. So you can argue that it's not just an x-ray of his skull, it's a symbol of the day Frank Castle died along with his wife and children, and The Punisher was created. Certainly a more personal origin of the symbol than in certain other iterations, at least.
Yes, that's cheesy as shit, but this is superheroes. Gritty bloody superheroes, but still.
