Nice. It does seem to have some issues on the technical side: It asks repeatedly to execute files (startup: three times, refreshing: twice, for instance) and notifications seem a bit wonky. And an error pops up for names.txt. Dunno if you want to leave that in; many people will have just one nation for quite some time.

I guess it is intended that Energy is first in the resource list? And that the program warns me of impending power outage because my gross energy usage is lower than 10 ticks worth of supply (I DO have a positive net gain)?

All in all, needs polishing, but it's a nice start. Are you including market thingies in there, too?

It shouldnt just ask to execute the files, it should just do it, that might just be a security thing with windows. the thing for names.txt is just left over, from before the reset, basically a reminder to add support for that later. The energy is first in the resource list because i forgot to add it so i just put it there. The warning by default to warn if you have less than 10 ticks supply (If total_resources < net * ticks before warn) the settings tab lets you change that, i just like to keep 10

Well yes, it's a thing in windows. Wasn't really complaining, but it's a bit annoying, and I'm probably not the only one who has that. (I actually get way more notifications from my firewall/security software, but that's because I set it to paranoid.)

And it warned me about energy although I had a net positive. The gross negative was less than 10 ticks, but I don't really care about that if my net is positive.

The way i put the settings makes it caclulate for 10 ticks, change it in the settings menu if you want it to warn you later

So it IS intended to work with gross values? That's fine then. I just thought it would be net values; I don't really care about my usage alone, since as long as my nets are fine, there's no real danger. Now, for nets, I like 10 ticks as well.
