Hey Admin, Minty just mentioned to me that outside defenders in a nation used to get kicked out if the nation owner goes stasis. Is it WAD that this isn't happening anymore?

If it's not WAD, I would have captured the nation last wartick or the one before.

That's not true. If a player enters stasis, attackers as well as defenders continue to march towards the nation. Only troops that belong to the player who entered stasis are pulled back into their home nation.

That would be fine, but I know I had troops in place when a player went into stasis and they got kicked back to me.

Across region no less.

Mind you, this would have been pre reset, but either it was a glitch then, it's a loop hole now, or something changed.

When I was attacking THK someone was sending 5k boats to his defense. They arrived at his nation even though he entered stasis.

Going stasis has never sent any already-moving force home. It's not in the design and there's nothing in the code that would trigger it.

Minty, I don't know how your troops got kicked back to you. Are you sure the nation wasn't destroyed by existing forces (rebels, SE, NLR, Independent attackers) while you were sending troops there?

A force moving to the stasised country from somewhere else, I mean. Going stasis sends YOUR OWN forces home, but that's a different kettle of seaponies.

He was saying he had troops already defending there (in-nation, not en-route) before the guy stasised.

I had troops stationed in the country, the owner stasised and they teleported back to me.

Again, so long ago, it was probably a glitch.

The troops weren't in motion, I had them stationed there as a response unit for days in advance.

Attackers should have killed them, and the country was still there so it wasn't a massive collapse.
