To prevent people from gaming the ascension system now that they know how it works, I'm going to remove the production bonuses from joining the game as an ascended user in a week or two. Strongly recommend that all the ascended players either get alliances or create their own before then.

And yes, you'll be able to actually join alliances fairly soon.

The server is now officially open, and people can now invite their friends to alliances.

I guarantee absolutely nothing at the moment. I don't guarantee that I won't change how ascension -> production works. I don't guarantee that I won't intervene if someone's created way too powerful with the way it works now. I don't even guarantee that I won't do a wipe.

We already had that. Alliance leaders do most, if not all of the compounding, and production players.
