Correction what occurred was that another person who I'll be courteous enough not to name had posted an IP they believed to be Aryan's on the board and asked if anyone recognized it. They had said they'd gotten it by tracing his ip numerous times through skype, and he was now was trying to find out who Aryan was by asking other people. Was it a shitty attempt at doxing? Yes, but the time and effort that went into it still displayed an unhealthy obsession and stalker like behavior.

The argument that it's ok he was checking if he was a multifag is goddamn ridiculous too, it's not your place to attempt policing the game by digging up people's information private or not, it's Admin's position to do as he sees fit and which he does effectively by monitoring the ips of members logging into his site, not by stalking people which is. What that was and what I don't doubt is still occurring is invading the privacy of people you've decided you don't like over a game about ponies, and if you're one of those people I suggest you let that sink in for a moment.

Aryan uses a vpn thats odd sure, and you know what? Admin asked him to log in without months ago and he did, and guess what lives in Eastern Europe so theres your answer and that should have been the end of this shit. I'm not one curse but its gotten to the point that it's incredibly irritating.

I don't even use a vpn sort or any of that, I login from home every day if I were a multifag Admin would know and yet that does nothing to stop the constant parade of idiocy. What you're looking for is the legal theory of an "actionable statement", or a statement that is strong enough to actually necessitate disciplinary or penal action.

These things are stuff like threats ("I will go to your house and burn it down"), harassment, libel, defamation or exposure of personal information (think Social Security or credit card numbers, not publicly viewable stuff like IP addresses. Even your legal name *is* available for someone to look up… if they were autistic even by this boards' standards).

You're nowhere near important enough to where libel or defamation causes measurable damage, nobody's looking for your social security number, and "actively hinder" isn't exactly a threat. I'm sure you could *try* to argue it in court, but any halfway competent lawyer could wreck that argument.

The best you've got here is 'harassment', and since the messages were never meant for you to read, then there's no harassment beyond what you put there yourself.
