How many southern politicians are actual from the south? I know North Carolinia's governor is actually from Ohio, but what about other states? link sorta related.

Former confederate states that have a Governor born in the south:
Texas
South Carolina
Mississippi
Tennessee
Louisiana
Arkansas
Alabama
Georgia

States that have a governor from up North:
North Carolina
Virginia
Florida

Well Pat McRory isn't really that bad of a governor as far as comparisons go. He was the mayor of Charlotte which is filled with yankees and that largely propelled his campaign.

He was better than the competition at least. He's a carpetbagger but he's not out to ruin the state for his own gain, if that makes sense.

Nathan Deal is a former Democrat that voted for NAFTA in the 1990s. A lot of the Conservative Republicans in this state hate him but they weren't voting for flag removing faggot Roy Barnes in the election.

I thought Carter had a slight chance (and would have been fine with it because he supported the House gun bill while Deal was against it) but it wasn't bound to happen. Carter would be governor if he'd switch parties. He's pretty much a Moderate Republican on most issues.

Nikki Haley is the shit for a red dot. I'd vote for her for president and not feel bad about it.
