I found METOKUR through their Films for the Fustilarian (FFF) videos, where they riff on various bad YouTube videos,

retsupurae-style. Being a fan of retsupurae, I decided to join their forums and present my cocks I was working on.

Habermann ate it up and, after some time and questions, I became part of the METOKUR mod team.

The METOKUR forums at that time was a mixed bag of showcasing bad Internet cocks, shitposting and Habermann's

self-indulgent rants about bad webcomics, music etc. More about that later. However, registered users were able to

see a secret subforum dedicated to "trolling operations".

We METOKUR mods had our own Skype group where we would facilitate those "operations". However, the way Habermann

acted about those operations needed to be noted. He was acting like an office boss, searching new lolcows to milk to

fulfill the trolling quota. All our completed operations would then be proudly displayed in said secret subforum.

Now some of you may ask why Habermann chose his way of life and trolling. He was always mentioning how he was a

"nihilistic sociopath". You know how things don't become more true when you keep repeating them, right? Anyway, he

got a sweet taste of that trolling nectar after he and a high-school football player got in a scuffle at his high-

school. Habermann mentioned the football team being abysmal. The jock commited suicide the night after that. The

school held a silent prayer dedicated to him, and Habermann made inadequate jokes. He got a lot of hate IRL and

Facebook and that's when he decided he loved all the hate and the "dark side" of humanity.

You could see a certain 14-year-old kind of edginess in his behavior that never seemed to fade away. The METOKUR

forums had a dedicated "nihilist" subforum where Habermann wrote shitty rants in his typical egomaniac style about

how life is worthless and morality is useless. It wasn't far from being some deviantART-style shit.

About those "operations", at first they seemed successful. We had epic lolcows like Alexander4488, the Retro Video

Game Kids and Ulrichthehedgehog taking our bait and embarrassing themselves for the whole wide world to see. METOKUR

also had a dedicated site making fun of bad deviantArt artist, of which there are obviously no shortage. The mods

took turn at writing articles dissecting and mocking their art, and the comments used to be full of "lulz", to put

it nicely. There was also Fanskit Fiesta, a FFF-like video series making fun of bad anime fandom and cosplay videos.

There was never a real shortage of "small fish", so to speak.

Speaking about Fanskit Fiesta: When I joined the METOKUR forums, there were three "big guys": Habermann and two

other guys, Mike and Jordan. Jordan was the one who concentrated more on Fanskit Fiesta, and Mi did just stuff here

and there. Habermann had his first big falling out with Mi and Jo over something, I don't really know, but it must

have been some really trivial thing, like Habermann's "troll honor" being tarnished or some shit. I read chatlogs

Habermann was always trying too hard. When I published my cocks to METOKUR, Habermann had the stupid idea to make merchandise for my cocks. A YouTube channel that had like 200 subscribers and 1000 video views max. I killed off my cocks, but Habermann was pushing for it to be revived because he was desperate for METOKUR cocks so his site could stay relevant. He actually made a Tumblr post about it, too. After the Ulrichthehedgehog thing there was a drought of big targets to hit. I don't seem to remember clearly because at that point I was getting bad vibes by Habermann's behavior and how office-like the operations went. Lmte, another new member, rose up in ranks and showed us his connections to ED. This was a great opportunity for METOKUR to push their agenda on ED. Several METOKUR trolling victims' pages became the Page of the Day and I made a video article for the Windows Movie Maker ED article that got lobbied into Video of the Now. I don't know how Lmte and Habermann got banned from ED, at that point I didn't give a shit, some of you seem to know it better. (adding: Watching Jim's video about Metokur, I can now remember the anti-METOKUR sentiment shared amongst some ED editors who were affiliated with the ED Singers.)

The ED Singers came like a blessing. When they released their shitty song about ED, the reception, especially from the METOKUR crew, was highly negative. METOKUR decided to commentate on the video, FFF-style. Not only did the video get taken down - Habermann got sued. Like, legit New York court sued by the main ED Singer. I still remember her last name: Bellofatto, which was ironic considering she was of above-average weight. Habermann scanned the court documents and we not only got her, but his dox. What happened after that, I don't know anymore. I cut the cord from METOKUR because the forums died down, the Skype group became a shitposting chatroom and I felt like I grew up from this bullshit.

Looking at Habermann's tumblr page now, I'm wondering whether this is a fucking joke. All this talk about how he's a nice, progressive guy now. One of our users Pockey was hanging out with Krapple in irc when that little Vegas trip shit went down. Memory is a bit shaky on all this because that was her thing, maybe she'll come by and explain more.

- Speaking of Pockey her and another user got into it. That's how she got doxed. He faked interest in her, got her pics and info, then spammed the forums saying shit like "Who would fuck this while sober". Led to some funny shit happening.

- One of the girls we featured on DCQC (Deviant Art Coalition for Quality Control) some emo/goth hybrid who was also a juggalo sperged on us for mocking her. About half a year later we ran into her on /b/ selling used panties for quick cash. This of course was updated in her article. She was not thrilled.

- The "24 hour ops complete" shit comes from mocking Habermann and his taskmaster nonsense. He wanted shit done immediately and members on METOKUR started fucking with him everytime he asked by calling shit he needed done a 24 hour op.

The result of this pissed Habermann off because at the time I was chasing down this thing called Patient Zero about a guy financing multiple Youtubers but with CONJOPI having removed a majority of their accounts there wasn't a point in continuing it. He got pissed because he was hoping it would bear fruit or some shit. Who knows.

Trying to think of other shit. There was a lot of shit that was posted to the mods forum but nowhere else. Anytime someone registered an account there emails and passwords were thrown in a document for the mods/admins to use in case they turned into a target. He also tracked IPs. That's how he fucked with a lot of his DCQC targets because he'd know if it was them leaving comments on articles about themselves. He would bait them into showing up on the forum and then registering.
