I think thats overrated. I live in a large city int he central region of the US, so there's less of that I believe as opposed to native-born asians marrying together. It's not a lot but ive seen it a few times especially on the north side of the city or in the city center.
Also, lol asians at anime cons who date white people and vice-versa.
I heard that Australia is wayyy more racist towards East and South Asians though, so maybe that might fit better…or something.

That Lindsay Souvannarath girl had a white mom and asian dad. I read somewhere that mixed raced people prefer to identify with one side rather than the other and find the prospect of being mixed distressing. I think I have a suspicion on who this guy is, but it's a little tenuous.
