With autism, some people are extremely sensitive to sounds and touch. I have a brother who went to a doctor and determined him to be a high functioning autistic. I'm just two years older than him, so we pretty much grew up with the same shit, Disney tapes, Pokemon, etc. But I've always wondered why did he not like music. I enjoyed music a lot as a kid and as such I would always have some movie like The Lion King playing. After a while, I noticed that my brother would just fucking bolt out of the room. Soon I would understand that (I'll call him James for the rest of the post) James didn't like music but only until recently I understood why.
So, when I still had wireless headphones, I would often play a prank on another brother, where I would have an annoying song and sneak behind him and slip the headphones on his his ears. It was funny.
Embed was the song I would often use
Sometimes because I grew up with James, I forget that he is autistic and I often treat him like any other person, I decided not to prank him, but I asked him to watch a video/or listen to a song, I forgot now what it was but I put my headphones on him and played it and his face tore up like he was in pain and I stopped immediately.
I never really bothered after that, because I didn't want to hurt him or anything. And James does visit the Closing Logos Wiki sometimes, but he does freak out a little from some logos. In retrospect, maybe James bolted out of the room because of the logos on the tapes.
