I mean, I've been to the Return of Kings site. I've read their stuff. And almost all of it is just your standard pro-masculinity stuff. It's mostly stuff about being manly, picking up women, and making fun of stuff they perceive as "beta," intermingled with investment advise of dubious value and veracity. You may agree or disagree with what they say, you may like or dislike it, but at the end of the day I don't see anything there that I would describe as "misogynist" in any way. It's just men promoting masculinity. The only things I've seen that have even been slightly "anti-women" to feminists is when they categorize women as having certain similar traits. Now, you might agree or disagree with this, but it's hardly "misogynistic." I mean, I understand that, like rape, "misogynist" has been overused by feminists to the point of losing all meaning, but you're talking about a term that literally means "hatred of women." The worst I've ever seen at RoK has been categorizing women by saying things like "women generally think in groups while men are more individualistic." I just don't see any real hatred going on.

And MGTOWs? Sure, they might be odd. They might be cringeworthy. Some of them might even be prime lolcow material. But hatred? I haven't seen any of that in the MGTOW world either. The worst I see is men saying they don't want to have contact with women because of some bad experience in the past or an anecdote they've heard about a woman taking a man's entire income in alimony or child support – which has actually happened, to be fair. In other words, the worst I can say about MGTOWs is that they're the male version of women who get stuck in the "boys are stupid" phase of their breakups. Misguided? Yeah. Cringeworthy? Sure. But hatred? Not seeing any, unless you define hating women as not placing them all on pedestals, worshiping them as goddesses, and refusing to believe they can ever do wrong.

Ironically, some of the most prevalent examples I've seen of men hating women are the male feminists expressing hatred of "don't need feminism" women for daring to express an opinion of their own.

What I'm getting at with all this is, why do SJWs react with such vitriol against people whose only crime is to think differently than they do? You'd think a group of people who pride themselves on being tolerant and inclusive would actually, you know, be tolerant and inclusive of people with differing opinions. But instead it seems like they are only tolerant of people with the exact same beliefs as them. The moment they see someone like MRAs, MGTOWs, RoK readers, or "don't need feminism" women who disagree with them, they lash out with a ferocity I'd thought could only be observed when True Believes in the One True Religion go on a witch hunt to burn the evil heretics.

What I don't get is – why do these people CARE about what other people think? Why do they care that someone somewhere on the internet is saying that they don't want to associate with women, or that they want to fight for the rights of men to not get fucked over in divorce court, or that men should be masculine, or that they don't need feminism? And why do they care so much that they spew such hatred at those people?

Personally (for what little a single opinion is worth), my issue with RoK alpha/beta shit is that it theorize that any beta-as-defined-by-RoK will inevitably become a white knight who bend over to women. Emphasis on 'as defined by RoK' because it seem to me like that place has a lot of chest-thumping caveman "me big me strong" shit but leave no place for the nerdy guy who genuinely couldn't give a fuck about women and would rather just do their complicated nerd shit.
