Note that not only do the best reviewers avoid creating their own plots and storylines for their on-camera personas, they avoid making personas and just review shit. It's clearly just them and not some sort of separate character. They might follow a formula or script out their points thoroughly, but in the end it's them giving an honest opinion on a thing, and you watch the video because you want to know about the thing. TGWTG does the exact opposite. Reviews to them are vehicles for their shitty characters and terrible comedy.

Like that flask was just something thrown in since they were just wanting to fill time a bit to lighten the mood. CA awesome normally does fairly short videos (in comparison to RLMs hour long Best of the Worst's), but in spite of this they cannot come up with anything meaningful to say about their subject. Because of this, CA relies on trying to make a joke instead of making points.

I actually saw the entire movie. I would not recommend it.

Basically, a government spaceship on the way to Jupiter for some reason gets in some deep water, so government liaison Alan¹ asks Linkara to save the crew.

¹The government and Linkara are already connected since they've been monitoring him ever since he came into possession of a spaceship².

²Linkara owns the spaceship after commandeering it from it's previous owner, Lord Vyse after Vyse tried to kill Linkara in order to protect the universe³.

³The universe was in danger because of a mysterious evil entity hellbent on consuming every universe in the multiverse. Lord Vyse believed only he could stop it. The entity turned out to be Missing No, from Pokemon. Linkara defeated it after suggesting it should kill itself.

Anyways, Linkara gets a ragtag crew of him, him in a costume, him in a costume, Marzgurl, Brad, and Angry Joe. Turns out the government ship is under control from Linkara's archvillian, Mecha-Kara, who is him in a costume. Robo-Kara hates Homo-Kara because Robot Linkara is Normal Linkara's robot friend, Poyo, but from an alternate universe. The movie's filled with a lot of melodramatic monologues meant to provoke the mind and tug at the heartstrings. This all falls flat since it's an internet reviewer and the internet reviewer in a costume. Eventually, the crew beats MechaKara with a lot of props and adobe after effects and they all go home.
