Exactly this. With the results as they were, people stuck with it. The technical reality, with the assumption that Vichan is going to cancer itself to death any moment by nool, isn't very rosy. Lynxchan is dogshit at the moment because it has nothing to offer for the user besides basic functions and Haruko isn't even ready for any actual use, Larachan will not see deployment here again. It is fast and snappy but only when it has the resources it needs and that looks like it is a lot. These are the Infinity clones available right now. Yeah I'm really not a fan of Lynx in general, but if it works on the servers and the front-end is repaired somewhat, it might become better than broken-ass Infinity. From what I've seen in software development it's actually pretty routine to see people that get hired to program and turn out to be complete dumbasses.

He didn't try setting a plan for how the project would be constructed nor tested. He didn't inform those funding the project of its status and he had no backup plan already in place should things go tits up.

Actually long term therapeutic use doesn't increase the risk of heart attacks at all according to long term studies. It's only a risk when you first start off for the same reason why jogging is. Note that therapeutic dose doesn't equal over dose or binges. You have to take it every day for it to be safe or even beneficial, just like caffeine. Same thing happens to runners and other athletes who push themselves hard every day. The fluctuations cause the inner ear to have trouble regulating fluid. Perhaps working out as the drug wears off would lessen this effect. I'm not aware of any long term studies on the phenomenon. They use steroidal anti inflammatory nose spray to alleviate these symptoms, but during allergy season this doesn't cut it.

What really fucking gets me about this is that Null chose to antagonize posters who criticized him and his project on various boards all while bragging about how great Infinity Next will be. Imageboards are hard to make money off of, and are largely a niche thing. I think everyone here understands that working on one has a large amount of difficult and thankless elements. Even though he got paid for his work, I imagine most people would have been fairly sympathetic to the challenges Null had to face, had he not been such a dick to everyone about the whole experience. He's now trying to spin this in his favor and it's incredibly pathetic considering how he was acting a month or two ago.
