I've never really felt too sorry for a "mainstream", well known lolpig. I find that they bring it all upon themselves, so I just can't feel much sympathy. However, I can't help but fill a bit bad for Chris.

He has gone from being full of rage and life, from being driven to create autism, to being somber and lifeless. It's a pretty sad downwards spiral.

I'm guessing you mean in his current incarnation because he's previous Phelous reviews before he switched to Phelous and the Movies was rife with them. I think he went into a meta overload before he killed that character off in Jacob's Ladder fashion. He still does it but not to the extent before. Though he does less movie reviews and doing more Bootleg Zone where he pulls a Spoony playing with dolls in his Hell's Kitchen game review. Those skits at the end actually have continuity and he does all the voices for them. Had to resort to audio distortion for some as he gets more Galaxy Warriors in his collection. Interesting for the terrible bootlegs out there and when he gets into incredible detail but not my favorite.

In terms of reviewer, I think he's gotten better outside of the Good Times animated movie reviews where he memes the shit out of it. If it's something that he seems passionate and knowledgable about it, he's a pretty great reviewer. His Resident Evil and Silent Hill reviews are good, both the movie and game and not the vlogs. His review of both Grudge & Ju-On is good too. His Ghostbusters, Dragon Ball and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles retrospective and top list for them is excellent because it shows not only his autism but the depth of research he actually does compared to his contemporaries. Even his horror reviews he does once in a full moon now are much better than the CA era of reviews. Sure he does skits here in there in his Infriended review but he actual tells you why something is bad without going into fullblown nitpick and making it seem like the whole point of why its bad like most reviewers on CA. Where others just seem to get worse or fall into obscurity after leaving CA, he's doing alright. He just needs to do more review of things he knows.

Yeah I mean now and I'm talking the excessive force fed skits Douge-style where he reenacts for 5 minutes the unfunny joke he thought was hilarious. Having some short, minor skits derived from the review material is perfectly acceptable.

Those are more of a self aware sperg fest than an attempt to be funny with a skit during a review, plus you can just stop watching at that point as the review itself is over.

Phelan is acting like a beta idiot here. If you lived and coexisted with a girl or as long as they have and she rejects your proposal, that instantly suggests she's just waiting for a cock-upgrade.

I'm going to be the MRA here and state this is a typical example of a woman over exaggerating their sexual commerce instead of being realistic. As far as attractiveness goes, both Allison and Phalen are in similar leagues. In fact, I think Phelan has aged much better then Allison has seeing as they both look approximately the same age despite Allison being about five or so years younger then him.

Phelan needs to take a page from the book of Nash and Noah and take the first step to moving on because the warning signs are as clear as day. Sometimes it's hard to part with something you find stable and comforting, but I'll bet my bank account we'll be seeing her fucking off at some point. I think she did part ways with Phelan at some point in the relative past already.
