I saw varying degrees of "she was asking for it" for weeks.

After Zami tried to kill herself the creators of the show said it was ridiculous to harass people for fanart and that fans should be able to draw whatever they like. Fans responded by screaming and crying that this was triggering and that they no longer felt safe.
