You see, most people play video games as a side-thing. Even if they are a "gamer," they are usually a gamer IN ADDITION TO some other career or identity. Games, movies, entertainment are just ways for you to enhance it a little bit and have some fun. That is why you can watch American Psycho and not be overtaken with the desire to murder people.
These people - SJWs and the like - don't have anything outside of the media. They are on twitter constantly. They live for movies, games, TV shows. They binge-consume electronic media. Maybe it's not games, since we all know most people who shit on games don't play them. Maybe it's music. I'd include clickbait into that.
So since that is all they do, they need to act like they are critics. They need to prove to people that their aggressive, blind consumerism isn't what it is: an addiction. They need to convince people they are "social scientists" and when they binge watch Orange Is The New Black it's just so they can dissect and tell everyone how it's making society better. It's like wine tasters who, when you actually do blind challenges, can't tell the difference between cheap and expensive wine. It's all bullshit, it's made up. Niggers just like drinking wine and want to impress their parents.
