Anyone here into bookbinding?

God yes, or at least I'd love to be into it instead of merely appreciating a pretty book

Have you taken the brown pill yet, mateys?

it's a tough pill to swallow! The brown pill was founded in 1999 by Sir Reginald Brownpill, who presents and narrates the attached video.

Forget red and blue pills, brown pills are the way of the future.

Video related. Please leave your questions, comments, and concerns below about this radical new paradigm of thinking!f

Swallow the brown pill today! Red pills are for fedora fucking wearing faggots, blue pills are for the ignorant masses. Ignore the other le epin /pol/ maymays, this one is the readl deal.y7457

So /craft/, I've always wanted to get into silk printing, but I have no idea who to ask, or where to get materials. Is there any place in the US that has relatively cheap silkscreening classes? Pls respond..

It's not all that complicated. Buy a silkscreen, some paints, and a squeegee. I'd suggest starting with black until you get the hang of it.
Just cut out stencils and experiment.

I've been into metalwork since high school, but I've never gotten to the point of being really excellent at it. I can't make anything past a simple bezel-set ring or a candle snuffer, I feel like I just lose my patience when hitting the shit out of the metal and realizing it just isn't going to bend the way I want it to.

Not to mention that this isn't exactly a cheap, popular, or social hobby… If I tell most people I make jewelry they think I string beads together like a fobbity old woman.

And these days the mainstream metalwork crowd is infested with modern art "beauty is subjective" goons who sell hammered soda tabs to hipsters…
